G-dragon actually had a lot literally A LOT of kdramas offers but he refused to do them all because he is shy in front of poeple he doesn't know ( new poeple to work with actors he doesn't know so it's uncomfortable for him) and also because he wants to focus in Music and fashion only , his schedules is already full with solo activities ,the group activities ,the fashion events ,the business he has and a lot of stuff , he is such a busy man .
but he acted on a movie parody called Muhan company and it's a must he acted in the villian role , the sexy psychopath CEO it was amazing with the cast of the very known variety show called infinite challenge , the problem that when he came to the set it was so uncomforptable because the staff starts bowing for him( yeah he is like korea's celebrity of celebrities so everyone show a lot of respect even tho he is only 28 back then 30 years old now) , the cast including some famous korean actors like lee je hoon expressed how huge fans of gd they are , the director even brought his wife and daughter to meet him lol and he told him he can do mistakes as he wants they are all fans so it's kinda uncomfortable for gd and he was shy (they show the behind the scene of the movie in the variety show)

GD is a great actor and he gets a lot of offers. But he is really shy and can't watch himself on screen. He did a lot of skits and a movie with Infinite Challenge that shows off his skills. If you have time check it out. Also, you should definitely watch Secret Garden before you watch their parody. The drama is really good and GDs acting is on point in the parody.

"Secret Big Bang" is a must for any Big Bang fan if only for Daesung's "smell," and once again, G-Dragon is the girl. In "Beethoven Virus," Seungri is the girl, and in "Big Bang Over Flowers," Daesung is the girl. In both T.O.P and G-Dragon are the love interests.
By the way, a woman did create a bra, it was a way that women didn't have to wear corsets anymore, so I think the bra wins.

You should’ve started with Secret Garden. That was a riot! 😂
Secondary funny story, TOP may be more accepting of acting nowadays, but when he first started - he was basically unwillingly thrown into it and had no idea why he was doing it. YG saw an MV he featured in ("Hello" by Red Rock) as a character and thought he did "well enough" to try him out in a drama, but TOP felt so embarrassed about it initially. But his senior actor there encouraged him to continue. He gets REALLY EMBARASSED whenever he's reminded of his earlier roles still. He once yelled in embarrassment when a costar in an advert (a singer from Wonder Girls actually!) mentioned that she had liked him in IRIS. LOL But then he went on to learn more and enjoy it as another way of expressing himself. XD
GD and I THINK YB both got extra training in acrobatics and acting as required by YG early on, because they wanted to make sure they were well-rounded, so GD DOES have some training behind him, but I don't think he's ever WANTED to as it makes him uncomfortable.
Honestly, if you ever have time for a movie night though - the full movie "Committed" is available for free from youtube movies now with subs and everything. :) I rec it if you're willing to cry a bit. (Just a forewarning.)

T.O.P is a great actor he has won awards for film work. He has been in a few films and I think he may have done some K-dramas.
Ahhh now I want to watch Coffee Prince again! I saw their Secret Garden parody before I saw the drama but wow ~ it is one of the best dramas I ever watched!

Same.. coffee prince is really one of my fave kdrama as well.. it was actually princesa hours that made me a kdrama fan.

The coffee Prince parody is probably the one which gives me the maximum second hand embarrassment. But it was also the First drama parody Bigbang did so that's fitting.:)
personally I think their drama parodies improve oldest to newest. So the order is Coffee Prince, Boys over flowers, Virus and Secret Garden. There's also a very short parody called "Bigbang's madam" done by GD and TOP which possibly is the oldest, I'm not sure.
Usually TOP automatically is assigned the lead male role by the others because he looks like a male lead the most plus actual acting experience.
Infact TOP once thought it would be fun to play the girl but he was unanimously shot down by the others who said "who will play the guy then?"
They usually take turns with the girl roles. So Seungri, Daesung and GD have each done it (GDs done it thrice)
There's usually a lot of debate and Discussion regarding casting.
I think a little bit of the casting is also done keeping the major fanships in mind.
It would be really funny if you could try and guess those and their relative popularity in the next bigbang video.
Oh and honestly I don't think you need to watch the actual dramas beforehand but that's ofcourse a personal choice because they might end up being ruined forever if you see the parody first! ;)
