I really loved that even the jutsus kept both players actively engaged instead of just being cutscenes. Like it isn't good enough to just input the combo for Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms, you still have to HIT the major chakra points, and your opponent might still dodge. I wish they hadn't cut that in later Naruto games.
It really sucks cuz now he is so watered down in the storm games

Lmao the in depth interaction you have to do to complete the jutsus are just amazing!! It honestly looks kinda cool if they implemented just a tad of that into the storm games I think that would've been really cool.
They did in the original storm games once it got to unlitmate storm they took out a lot of interaction with jutsu so you couldn’t interrupt them

I think this is the hardest Naruto game ever. You actually had to have skill and know your combos. Plus the boss fights were hard asf near the end of the game.

If the combat was more clean like (clash of Ninja ) then the mechanics in this game would be so awsome..the art style and special jutsu was done so good
Combat is nice the way u perform jutsu is really unique and enjoyable, the free roam of this game is the best in my opinion, but jutsu looked really weak and the artstyle is hideous, look at their faces they look like dolls, really bad one but if they would improve look of the jutsus and characters it would one of the best games in naruto verse

They really should’ve kept this style of the game still by far the best naruto game I’ve played. The other storm series were nice of course but imagine if shippiden had been put into this format man

@David Edosomwan You don't? It's obvious that they removed the jutsu clashing mechanic because they were adding online play to every game that came after. Button mashing minigames or something that requires precise timing wouldn't be a good thing to have in a game where lag can be an issue. Plus, the mechanic was super situational. It only really ever happened when you were trying to make it happen, and a part of that was because there were so few characters who had jutsu that could even clash. And since the game was transitioning to Shippuden in Storm 2, I imagine there'd be a smaller percentage of characters who could even clash with each other. It's obvious that it was a feature that was never worth putting time and money into preserving. And that's without even getting into how it was technically one of those features that interrupted the flow of combat. If you were trying to make it happen, then it was cool. But if you weren't trying and it just happened, the whole fight gets stopped just so you can play a minigame. And if you happened to suck at button mashing or whatever, it's even worse because then you just take guaranteed damage every time just because you used your jutsu at the same time as your opponent.

Ladies and gentlemen arguably best Naruto games in existence this game was my childhood this is what I know until game is meant to be don't get me wrong I like the Ultimate Ninja Storm series just as much as the next guy but this is just perfect

Each Jutsu is a minigame of its own bet the developers suffer while they were making this game.
As far as the creativity and the variety of different jutsu the characters have is amazing. They need to revisit some of these mechanics and implement them in a naruto game with obvious upgrades to the mechanics, gameplay, and character creation and they'd have a cool ass game
