I am a yamadori aficionado and a solitary wolf. Safety is my life belt to enjoy my hobbies. The sooner you get that the better for you and your family. Thank you for this Maros

Thank you Maros for this very useful reminder about the things one needs to have in mind for finding the right trees to collect. The timing of this video is also very appreciated. Usually videos about collecting trees are shot during the collecting season, and then several days or weeks go by until they are edited and by the time they are released it is too late! Very well done 👌

Thanks. So maybe it will provide new inspiration and motivation into the upcoming yamadori season. I hope you find nice trees to work with 👍

Really great video - the scenery of your filming location is amazing! Although I don't collect wild trees, I love hearing your advice for what makes a suitable candidate for bonsai. It also gives me ideas on how to prune my seed-grown material to capture some of the essence of a Yamadori. Can't wait to see what you've select to bring home.

@marosbonsai as a beginner and living with lodgepole and limber pines, I am guilty of killing ar least 70% of my collected trees especially I'm gone 4days for work overtime. Early summer when I only installed the auto misting. They looks okay for at least 3months but died after.

@@virolfestrellado9425 Don't be afraid or discouraged. When you are starting, it is normal to lose some trees, sometimes half, sometimes more. The important thing is to learn your lessons. Improve aftercare, watering, shading, misting, feeding, bottom heat for freshly collected trees, etc. I know that being away from home for prolonged periods, especially in the hot summer is challenging. But by gaining experience and new skills, season by season you can improve your success rate, up to 90% or more.

Bravo Maros on the new video. Love the cinematography and music. Appreciate the tips that you provided, no matter how basic it may seem to guide new comers that venture into the forests. I thoroughly enjoyed the video and it gives me some yearning to pack up my bag and head into the nearest potential windy spot in the forest to hunt for trees. I have occasionally have looked out for trees when i was hiking in the mountains but I have always looked for small trees, it is true that I should also look at 3-4 m trees that have good sized trunks for bonsai. Thanks again.

Hi. I'm glad it helps with understanding of choice of the suitable material. I tried more cinematic color filters and stuff just to try how it will look like and how it works. I'm happy that you like it. Thanks

We go to the woods to find out how resilient nature is, and it is giving our lives greater sense. Since we feel we are part of those woods through our ancestors living there for thousands of years.

Ahoj. Najprv odporúčam veľa naštudovať. Zistiť či máš na to dostatok priestoru, času, odhodlania a trpezlivosti. Skúsenosti s pestovaním čohokoľvek sú takmer nevyhnutné. Stromy vyžadujú (v lete) každodennú starostlivosť. Počas dovolenky riešiť zálievku, automat alebo rodina. Je to ako kúpiť si psa. Mas postarané o starosti na 15 rokov. Stojí to za to.

The voice is only in the right channe which is a bit unfortunate especially when listening on headphones. the content though is top notch, thanks for more than the usual basic tips on Yamadori!

      Thanks for your helpful comments.
Regarding sound, i had that issue on previous vids. I was super careful in the production phase and checked all the time on headphones if it works properly. Interestingly, it worked for me.
Nevertheless, the issue is still there, and i have to consult someone more knowledgeable about the production.
      Greetings
