I feel that Tristan has become the families personal chef, he is certainly taking a heavy load off of air Aaron when he cooks and helping you with the kids lunches.❤️🥰
There’s a TikToker named Moriah who’s family is stationed in Okinawa, Japan (her husband is US military) and her sons have “bento days” once a month at school where she makes these really cute type of lunches. No sweets though (cookies, candies etc.) only fruit for sweet stuff. She also said a lot of moms in Japan make bento boxes for their kids everyday and the quality of the box equates how much the mom loves her kid. The kids will judge each other’s boxes, that’s why the quality is important for them. It’s kinda a lot but bento boxes are really cute!
Agreed. And I absolutely loved it as a kid. It was a goldmine as I got older too. Trade that bad boy for a dollar. Most of the people who were at my school were either SUPER poor or SUPER rich. There wasn’t much of an in between and it all depended on what neighborhood you lived in. It was really weird. But the rich kids always carried money on them to buy an icecream/ chips/ soda from the lunch line
I agree and kids like it and it is not the worst nutritionally. Coming from someone who made ALOT of school and work lunches. It is nice to get other ideas. I loved having my kids or hubby come home and say, thanks for my lunch today it was awesome!
I always had a sandwich and a peeled fruit, mostly apple, for school made by mom and even now looking back I’m so thankful. I’m sure the kids appreciate anything being made for them my the parents :) it’s the thought that counts after all.
You can spread condiments between the lunch meat fold or between the cheese and meat so the bread doesn't get soggy. Same if you want to add sliced tomatoes. Works for me anyway...
I might be the only person that liked my bread soggy 😂 I can’t eat gluten anymore due to health issues, but I crave that cheap white bread that sticks to the roof of your mouth sometimes
I cut the hotdog tentacles before cooking it. When you drop it into boiling water, the tentacles curl up, which makes it look like an 🐙 the kid can then hold onto the head and dip the tentacles in ketchup or condiment of their choice. This is still my daughter's favorite way to eat hotdogs and she is 18 😊 seaweed snacks are a healthy crunchy side that goes well with an under the sea themed lunch. I add Goldfish grahams for the dessert.
Little tip for octopus hotdogs. Cut the tentacles BEFORE cooking the hotdog and then boil. The cut ends will curl up and they’ll look like actual tentacles!! I would skip on making a face on them tho as it may look messy and unappetizing.
I love Evie's laugh. The lunches looked good. I need to suggest the Charcuterie board idea for the senior lunches. I am with Gramma, I do not care for humus. I have tried it and it is not my thing but the presentation was a 10/10.😀
Yess I was waiting for this video! My boy is a 6th grader he eats lunch at school but my 4 year old going into preK definitely will be packing lunch for her 💜☺️
Then poor Evie eating the food she touched!!! 😮 Evie is Brody’s age, they should be doing lunches for each other. Aurora could do it with a cousin her age. Just a thought. ❤
If i was making something for dinner i knew my kids loved i would make lots extras so they could have it for lunch the next day. like tacos, chicken fingers, stir fry or pasta things like that . something good and healthy.
I can tell you from personal experience, I don't have kids, but I got into making creative bento boxes for my lunches, but after about a month, working 45 hour weeks, and having to do all this cutting that was wasting ends, and crusts, and spare pieces of meat and cheese, I abandoned ship. Its just not practical as an everyday lunch unless you have loads of time and or don't mind having to eat these odd pieces just for the cute factor. The other lunches look great and am sure taste great. The antipasti looked so good, I might eat that one for next week.
Evies laugh is infectious. What a sweet lovely pre teen 😊, she likes beans , you should try Irish butter on white toast with Heinz baked beans . (Find in Irish or English grocery area)
You might like taking pictures of your fun lunches to remind yourself of your creative ideas when under pressure. Also, you might make a grocery list for each lunch box idea.
I love your videos so much you put a smile on my face every day so thank you . If you may there is one thing I would like to add you have to cover the hummus with olive oil to prevent it from getting bad if you pack it for lunch the heat and humidity will speed up the rot process and if you storage it in the fridge, you have also to cover it with olive oil It will last much longer. Sending love for you guys all the way from KSA💕
Great lunches. Food prep is always a good time to remember to teach about hygiene. If you touch your face, dog, etc. hands need a rewash. You can tell Evie has learned this. Super handwashing Evie!
They are teaching their children to wash their hands before cooking and they watch their parents washing hands as well I guess you haven’t seen that yet
I love love love that you guys did a chacudari board. I have been getting lots of chacudari board things and eating that for lunch or dinner such an amazing summer foods. I usually get summer sausage, apple, a couple types of cheese, triscuts and wheat thins, grapes, and green amd black Olives too.
🍽️ 🌮🍕🥞🍔🌭🥪 I think Tristan should teach Jamie some cooking skills and kitchen basic skills . I bet she would really love that. They are both so patient and kind so I think it would make an awesome video ❤❤❤
I think a fun video to create. Trying or reacting to school lunches around the world. I feel your children will be shock how much better some country feed their school’s children.
I agree. I was surprised to see chips, biscuits, and chocolate in some lunches. I know it wasn't a lot, but our schools have strict rules on no junk food or confectionary. Some parents complain, but mostly, it's accepted as best practice. Kids need to be well-fed to concentrate and learn.
Tip on hot dogs - when raw cut in half and then make your legs. Toss them in the air fryer for a min or two they will cook and the legs will curl. We always cook our hot dogs in the air fryer!
I just finished watching the crazy middles getting things for their family's lunches and it included about 40 lunchables and one of first things Crystal says is they arent good for you, i had to laugh
Hello crazy pieces thank you so so much for sharing this amazing video your family is amazing and beautiful I loved this video seeing how you made lunches for the kids my heart is so happy after watching this video I appreciate you and your family thank you ❤❤❤❤
❤Crystal and evie togather made me smile laughing togather WORKING TOGATHER EVIE LOVES CRYSTAL SO MUCH YOU CAN TELL SHES HAPPY AND COMFORTABLE WOTH CRYSTAL SHES SO SO SWEET GOD BLESS EVIE AND YOU CRYSTAL BEST MOM🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for the lunch suggestions and tips for preparing. From experience I know that younger kids enjoy the classic ones and don't care too much for fancy. The food has to be easy to transport, to unpack and to consume. School will be thankful too. Have you tried to use the heart mold to shape the ham and the cheese? The remaining edges you can cut up in your pasta salad or in an omelette. With the bread crusts you can make croûtons in the oven or air fryer. Delicious in bisque or to munch. And try to replant the sucrine lettuce? Or if you wish you can stir fry it with mushrooms and carrot.
Funny when you were talking about favorite beans, I'm not a big bean lover so I was just thinking of jelly beans when Tristan mentioned them - good choice! 😂😂 And green beans are okay I guess too
The box that doesn’t close. You need to push it down all the way and then it locks. It’s not pushed all the way. There is a gap. I’m a preschool teacher and most of the kids use those bins.
For the Hummus omit the oil and half the tahini and replace it with plain Greek yogurt and I promise you’ll enjoy it more. Also to change it up a bit add roasted red peppers and that is absolutely delicious too. Not sure if your family likes tuna but if you add finely chopped onions, bell peppers, celery and parsley with a little lemon juice and just enough mayo to keep it moist it’s really good for lunches too.
I have the same lettuce dryer and it's the best thing I ever invested in for my kitchen. My is stainless steel and Trist was missing the part to the top piece is why it wouldn't work lol Great lunch ideas. :)
Ps I always put fruit and nuts and dried cranberries in my salad, and sometimes boiled eggs. The best dressing is homemade with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and a splash of maple syrup. SO yummy, I also add Greek Spice to it too.
You can cut the tentacles before you fry them, because they will curl up. In Sweden we have a little sausage at Christmas time that we cut the both ends two times. When we fry them the ends curls up. We call them prinskorv (prince sausage) because it looks like a prince crown.
The liquid in the garbanzo beans is called aquafaba. It is used as an egg/egg white substitute for many recipes, savory and sweet. Also a substitute for egg whites in cocktails.
Great to see such healthy and filling lunches! 1. Antipasto (or -i for the plural) is pronounced "AN-tee-pa-stoh" and the first course of a meal so it's similar to a starter but stlightly heavier. It usually doesn't have any pasta in it as that is the next course (primo). 2. Cut the sausage before boiling it so it doesn't make a mess and tentacles spread by themselves 3. Cooking together as a family is a great opportunity to teach the kids about hygiene so please do so! Washing your hands before and after touching foods are just the basics
I feel that Tristan has become the families personal chef, he is certainly taking a heavy load off of air Aaron when he cooks and helping you with the kids lunches.❤️🥰
Who agrees with that Trisian should be a chef? Watching him create different lunch ideas looked delicious 😋 he is amazing with the Knife skills..
Oh yes he has better knife skills than me and i completed chef training
Tristan def has skills , and you can see how much he enjoys it just
Like Aaron.
Bella, it's always fun to see you, Savannah, and Hannah spending time with your cousins.
Lmfao when it just randomly shows Bella standing there . I just love her 😂
I love Bella’s face when she’s standing there watching
It’s great to see you all eating healthy. It’s nice to see a family that loves to all be in the kitchen cooking together. Great bonding time!!!!!
Evie seems like such a sweetie!! Her laugh is so precious and she always seems to be so helpful!
That looks so much fun, even kids love learning from their older brother- Way to go Tristian. Take care and much love guys !

Jaime is so sweet. Everything is always a 10 out of 10. 😊
There was so many good ideas have Tristan do a whole segment on school lunches on beyond crazy
Oh Aurora!! 😮😳 making Evies food!! How did no one see this? 7:36😮and make her wash her hands? But evie washed her hands for Auroras food!!!
I saw that too aurora picked her nose and ate it then made evies sandwhich 😮😬
@@audreylah right!! Poor Evie.
she didnt have time to wash her hands while digging for gold, lol
DISGUSTING
They took that part out it's not there 😂
Nothing wrong with a pb&j, sometimes it’s what’s affordable.
Agreed. And I absolutely loved it as a kid. It was a goldmine as I got older too. Trade that bad boy for a dollar. Most of the people who were at my school were either SUPER poor or SUPER rich. And it just tastes good. Strawberry jam, apple butter or raspberry jam
Not a thing
Most school don't allow pb and jelly because kids are allergic
I always had a sandwich and a peeled fruit, mostly apple, for school made by mom and even now looking back I’m so thankful. I’m sure the kids appreciate anything being made for them my the parents :) it’s the thought that counts after all.

Never thought to do that! Duh! lol 😂
AQUAFABA Aaron
Agreed! And make the sandwich before cutting so you get meat and cheese throughout the whole thing
I might be the only person that liked my bread soggy 😂 I can’t eat gluten anymore due to health issues, but I crave that cheap white bread that sticks to the roof of your mouth sometimes
For My Granddaughters I make lunch meat rolls w o the mayo or mustard and send them in pkgs for them to open and add ... They liked it lots better 🙂🙂🙂
There's some really good ideas here! Great job guys, love tristans contribution to new food ideas.
Everything looks great but that charcuterie board is top notch!!! 🤤🤤🤤🤤
I cut the hotdog tentacles before cooking it. I love Evie she's the sweetest soul she's so caring about her siblings and Just has a heart of gold ❤I like the other kids to but I love Evie ❤
The bentgo box you made with Evie does close, you just have to push it closed and it latches to the bottom, we have one just like it.
Love your style, it's like a burst of creativity in every video!
Omg Evie's laugh is so contagious. Her laugh at the very beginning of the video is priceless ❤️❤️❤️
I love Evie's laugh. The lunches looked good. I need to suggest the Charcuterie board idea for the senior lunches.
I am with Gramma, I do not care for humus. I have tried it and it is not my thing but the presentation was a 10/10.😀
Always happy to see a Crazy Pieces upload :)

I watching your videos and I have my bells on your videos and I'm subscribed to your videos and 👍 ☝
Aurora making a snack whilst digging for gold and consuming her findings 😂😂😂
Then poor Evie eating the food she touched!!! 😮 Evie is Brody’s age, they should be doing lunches for each other. Aurora could do it with a cousin her age. Just a thought. ❤
looking for a pot of gold in that nose and then touching the ham for evie to eat...might need to edit those moments out,lol..pretty disgusting.
🤢
If i was making something for dinner i knew my kids loved i would make lots extras so they could have it for lunch the next day. like tacos, chicken fingers, stir fry or pasta things like that . something good and healthy.
I always learned something new from Tristan everytime I've watched your vlogs!😊😊
Pasta salad is one of my favorite dishes and so easy to make..Use zesty italian salad dressing as a marinade....
Evie I just love your laugh you keep being a happy girl!
What fun lunches ty for the great ideas
Little life hack if you cut the hotdog first for the octopus then cook makes easier and more exciting for the kids
But hotdogs are super super unhealthy, fun idea yes but maybe once or twice a year❤
Oh wow very cool and interesting Crystal I just love your family Videos hope all the Kids are all doing well.😊🤗🙏🏾

It's funny you said not to do Lunchables. I just watched Crazy Middles and they purchased a whole bunch of them.
I just watched that video too! Made me laugh out loud!
You might like taking pictures of your fun lunches to remind yourself of your creative ideas when under pressure. Also, you might make a grocery list for each lunch box idea.
As an Italian your pasta looks amazing cooked, good job Tristan! sending love from Italy❤
Evie and Aurora did a good job making the lunches the sandwich looked yummy
I love Evie’s laugh ❤

My bearded dragon Bean. Is my favourite Bean. Lol 🐲 Love all the crazies from another crazy. X "Life is like a puzzle not pieced yet".
All bentos looked delicious. Tristan is a great help and super Chef.
I want a Tristan! He is so knowledgeable about food!
Tristan makes food look very yummy. I like how he presents it.
Crystal, You have to make sure the top fits snuggly (push down) in order for the bento box to snap closed....
I don't think I've ever been this early to a video! Hiii!!
Sorry but as much as Aurora may want to help, she needs to learn food hygiene. Great tips and ideas. Blessings.
They are teaching their children to wash their hands before cooking and they watch their parents washing hands as well I guess you haven’t seen that yet
@@theresamckenna3176 yes I have seen the handwashing, just with the one particular scene, maybe they could have shown Aurora re washing her hands.
Good luck to your kids going back to school

Happy 18th Birthday to Lucas for today. I hope you're having a great day.
I agree with Tristan. A serving of protein is essential - both in terms of nutrition and satiation.
🍽️ 🌮🍕🥞🍔🌭🥪 I think Tristan should teach Jamie some cooking skills and kitchen basic skills . I bet she would really love that. They are both so patient and kind so I think it would make an awesome video ❤❤❤
He would confuse her
@@foxyplayzgames5210 I don’t think he would. He’s very patient and kind
@@foxyplayzgames5210You again? You're trying to be controversial, but your comments are so obviously so, it's embarrassing for you.
These are really nice lunch ideas! I tend to have no idea of what to make and end up not doing lunch but thank you
Thank you for sharing.
Hi from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺

I think you cut the hotdog before you cook and you boil it.... How do you keep the Bento boxes cool until lunchtime
I've seen them use ice packs in the lunchbags before to keep the food cool
I only have 3 kids and I make sanduíche and fruit and vegetables for them to take to school, sweets are not alowed.

Arron’s hair cut looks great btw
My friend makes hummus but she does roasted garlic instead. Delicious 😋
Love the Snackle Box!!!!!!! 🤤 ❤
Love you guys.
Don't cut lettuce with metal. It turns brown wherever the metal touches. Get a plastic lettuce knife. It will not turn brown.
For the octopus, cut the tentacles first before frying time. Then the tentacles will open up very nicely when you finish frying them :)
Your family make me smile every time 🫶
That pasta looks so good I need tristan to make me sum food and auron looks so goooood🔥
Triston should open his own shop and sell all these different and amazing food. I feel I am in a cooking class with Triston. lol Hugs 💕💕
Specialty shop with class teaching fun things to get kids to eat more variety of foods

@foxyplayzgames5210 why do you say that
Amazing ideas
Tortillachips and hummus is addictive...it's unnecessarily good 🤤
for my work lunches, I throw in some carrots, fruit, yogurt and a snack bar. Takes 3 minutes to make
you could try cutting the octapus before cooking it makes them look better :) love your videos!
I make a similar pasta salad but prefer Italian dressing on it
