as someone who is friends with some of the girls who were friends with them (they are no longer friends with these girls for obvious reasons), it was horrifying to watch this happen in real time, and watch my friends have to end friendships with people they thought were good people. This space on twitter is such a toxic ecosystem, and its so difficult to make friends in it for this exact reason. on the otherhand, there are plenty of lovely people in that community, but fake backstabbers like this lot, ruin it for everyone else. It hurts to see people we thought were friends and girls to look up to, turn out to be such horrible vile beings. Theres plenty of group chats out there (from my own experince) that were filled with the most wonderful, uplifting people. it sucks to see just a few girls give a bad name to a community we love.
had a group of guys that really wasn't much better than this. I removed myself from that group entirely, not even entertaining people to talk to so idk where the ego comes from.
"I hate drama so much" always translates to "gimme the hottest tea before I go make some myself". Especially when a community/group advertises drama free environment, be 200% prepared for the drama.
"no drama" doesnt mean dont do controversial things, its normally a banner that the leadership doesnt want to deal with drama over whats said or done, I come from mmos, the leadership of "drama free" guilds always feel perfectly fine hitting on women in the guild even if they dont like it, but when they speak up and tell them to stop is when theyre "creating drama". happens basically every second fucking week.
it is ALWAYS the ppl who self proclaim "hate drama" i don't even understand what's the constant trait in these people yet, but when i find out, maybe ill b able to avoid them forever. tbh i feel like it's something u don't need to bring up as it's assumed yk?
Originally I was like "How bad could it be?" Most group chats like that end up having some crazy shit getting said after all, I've definitely said my fair share of things in the group chat with the homies that should never be said in public, but saying that you want someone to attempt suicide or lying about someone giving you covid and calling you a slur is WAYYY out of pocket
As someone who's been in many group chats Those are the most tame things said in a group chat What takes this over the line is that they're actively publicly stating these things They genuinely wanted someone dead or at least publicly ruined Basically, once it leaves the group chat there's a problem
lol worst group chats i have is when i was a edgy teen n word spam but its more like me and the friends are being idiots id never frame someone to them being the cunt when its actually me
I mean maybe I suck but to me it's the opposite. It's the "she's fat" or "she's ugly" ones that read as obviously not jokes to me and just being awful. In my group chat I would say something so negative about someone when it's over something so minor that's it's obvious I'm joking so the ones that look worse I guess seem more normal to me.
@@theboss1829 part of it is because its public, but also the difference is normally stuff is said jockingly about people who are either in the group chat, or people who they are close to. This is behind people back and clearly malicious, and they clearly mean what they said.

people always say high school drama like anything changes when you graduate. just becomes office drama instead but its all the same no matter where people are. every pretty girl poops and every adult acts immature in different ways behind closed doors
I have a little sister in middle school. She’s “friends” with the pretty popular girls who act exactly like this. Nice to know when these girls grow up many of them become E-girls and perpetuate a culture exactly like middle school. Nothing makes me sicker than a woman who acts like this. Fake nice, they do know we can tell when you’re being fake nice right. Just sad.
@@AsianSwagMstr she realized there behavior was toxic and stopped hanging out with them. The problem is there is a huge desire in her to be popular so she still wants to be friends with them to accomplish that. When she stopped hanging out with them they started spreading rumors that she slept with a couple of boys and started calling her a wh*re
I mean I'm not really sure if it's the popular ones in school that grow up to continue the behavior, although I might just be a bit too old to accurately say the situation for the current generation though. However as I remember it and notice it is that it's the ones that weren't part of such a group that act like this when they get the attention they didn't during younger years while e-girling
The crazier part about all this too is the ones who did try to apologize, sent out the apology and THEN went to discord like Lud showed. So many more of those EGirls are getting called out too for stuff they’ve said or supported, some of the ones getting called out aren’t even in the initial group. It’s amusing to see people like this get karma thrown at them like a brick to the face.
they said awful stuff about someone in private. Karma affects your actions. These were no actions. Just their thoughts expressed to some people. Karma doesn’t hit you for just having harmful thoughts. I'm not supporting these people. I dislike egirls in general.
you can really tell that the people in that group chat are so deeply insecure about themselves and in order to combat those feelings they found themselves in a community where they shit on others to make themselves feel connected to each other. It's a really sad trap to fall into and the fact that they doubled down really shows that theyre still kind of clinging onto that commodore. wanting to be liked by others is such an infectious disease but its also extremely human of people, evolutionary and subconscious even. i agree with you that there is a culture online where you are forced to do certain things to appear morally just and correct but even then i still do kinda feel like there are creators online who *are* genuine and *do* want to do good, at least i know i try to be, but majority of the time those genuine people arent required to say they are that, they just do it yknow? honestly i feel like no matter what these days when (not if, when) your skeletons get exposed and you have to write an apology for shit you did in the past its gonna get shat and clowned on no matter how perfect it is especially if youre apart of a marginalized group so really the only thing they could possibly do at this point in their situation is to take time offline or even move on from it and showcase that they have changed, itll take time and hurt money pockets but its so worth it in the end imo.
such inspiring words, can definitely feel the jealousy and desperation of the girls in the video. I hate how people try to feel connected by doing something they don’t even meant to do at the first place. Positivity is always a better solution in my opinion
i agree, i'm not trying to white knight the girls but rather than hating on them and saying how awful they are, i think there's more of an uncomfortable topic to be had about internet façades and how it meshes with the human psyche. the internet itself is stressful, these girls may have said real awful crap, but that doesn't mean all of their niceness was ingenuine. a person's mood changes a lot in the course of a week and when you're in a superficial market, of course you'd have a crap ton of insecurities. not everyone has to have the same opinions and views, you don't have to support groups that make you uncomfortable (you still need to treat them with basic human respect), even if the whole of twitter tries coming down at you. everyone deserves to have a safe space to vent and let out their negative emotions- people aren't always going to be kind and polite, that's just life- but the internet, of all places, is NOT the place to do it. something to note is that with the age of technology, those who are chronically online lose the ability to process their emotions because they chase dopamine on the internet, then, all that repressed thought and emotion just flood them and create a depressive/manic cycle. these girls really need to process things offline.
Yeah, this is like what’s happening to me and my ex friends lmao. They be doing what those egirls doing to me and my other friend… left group immediately
Idk I'm not surprised. Egirls who flaunt around about BEING egirls are always knobheads like this. I'm not shocked at all. I've never met someone who talks unironically about being an egirl who isn't exactly like these people. The twats aren't worth the time. I think there's a difference when men and women argue for the most part, not only do women argue more petty than men, but they hold grudges a LOTTTT longer and actually try to ruin eachother. Men just insult eachother and make up in a few days. This is a good example of the difference Source: Trans woman.
i think people are growing up weird with the internet. a lot of people nowadays have had unfiltered internet access from a young age and it just exposes you to a lot of different stuff at your very impressionable ages. its basically twitter and andrew tate teaching kids their morals and values. i think thats just purely because the internet is this new. our parents couldnt have known the effects of the internet but we, the ones growing up on it, do. i think its these newer generations job to properly have our kids grow up around the internet in order to prevent the extremes were dealing with today
Yeah I don’t think this was purely the online environment. I think it perpetuates what happens in person. Kids nowadays just can’t escape it when school ends which I’m kinda grateful I caught the tail end of.
Eh they probably where all ready toxic before the internet it's just easier to be openly toxic online due to there being not many consequences especially for people who stay anonymous
I really appreciate Lud for asking everybody to not say "They were ugly anyways", cuz that's what I see a lot online and it always rubs me wrong. Now I understand why lol
i mean they're super ugly human beings... if you find them aesthetically attractive or not depends on your taste... but objectively from their personality they're absolutely ugly
It's pretty obvious though. There's a saying that goes: two wrongs don't make a right, which is talking exactly about this. You just don't help anyone if you start calling them ugly
@brom right. I think it's also because people are quick to assign other people to "good" and "bad" categories. People can be incredibly talented or beautiful, and be absolutely awful on the inside. But if we don't like them as a person we want to tear them down instead of being unbiased and letting it be: that they're just awful people and despite having one or two good qualities they're still garbage.
@Agfd these people are circle jerking eachother saying racial slurs and and literally saying some person needs to kill themselves, they wave all human rights at that point and there is nothing wrong with harassing them online I mean that's what they are doing already
Twitter is such a weird place bc everyone there is always weaponizing oversensitivity but also being very unapologetically offensive on the daily? The part where one of them said they wanted to fake being hatecrimed sums it up pretty well 😭
Yeah, twitter is weird, you can't fully explain anything to a meaningful extent, so people end up saying the clickbait line which needs and lacks the most context.

I dated one of these types of girls and yes they spew bad shit about people “close” to them and when that person decides they don’t want to be around them anymore they immediately play victim and try to guilt the other party for even thinking they shouldn’t be friends. It’s so fucking flawed and what’s worse is they are fully aware of the bad choices they make.
An apology means nothing to me. Now I also don't care that they were (and probably still are in a new group chat) being mean, but all it shows is they are still willing to play the game. Given the way they talk/act it's a game about status. You act formal when you're at work, you act social when you're in public; an apology (to that sort of person) is just following the rules in order to preserve their image. Someone wouldn't do the things they did if they had the capacity to turn on a dime and feel sorry for the person they were attacking. It would take time to break down their moral structure of the group they are/were apart of.
An apology means nothing to anyone online, all of twitter will just double down on you for it, no matter what it is, no matter what you're apologizing for, that's why you just shouldn't do it, period, it's always a bad idea. So what do you do then to not get canceled when you make a mistake? Hard question, but I'll be honest, i'd be FAR more impressed if one of these girls, instead of apologizing, had just doubled down, and said "this is who i really am in these DMs, don't like it, don't watch." Honestly if someone said that after getting exposed, it'd be such a breath of fresh air for me, that'd i'd actually consider checking them out after that lol.

So the reason they comment on other girls photos is one of two things. 1) They want to be perceived in the "cute hello kitty princess" egirl niche, where they are super positive all the time and lovely people. 2) So they get free exposure. Especially if the original tweeter replies to their comment, they want people to see their name and check out their profile. Evidentially, it's not them being nice. It's them trying to social climb.

It got to the point where someone made a meme page of me making fun of me about drinking… you know what… and making fun of my mother and stuff. It’s a tad different but it got to the point where almost half the school knew about it and I’d hear people sharing in public and giggling about it behind me during class. I’m really lucky to still be here. But people like this are so hard to humble. It happens a lot more than you think. And a lot of individuals become subject to it no matter who some people portray to be.
Superecchi and usagi also had apologies. They were insane to read cause they threw each other under the bus. It backfired and they deactivated or got suspended
knew a friend group in college get torn apart from the exact same scenario (group chat, one person deactivated account, came back to see the gc had been shit talking her) just goes to show that shitty people will be shitty people no matter what their life looks like
Same thing happened to me. I left the group from my highschool batch because I hated having stupid notifications about their life story, and I hated them because they bullied me a lot for no reason. Fast forward 5 years later, a friend of mine who is still part of the group chat told me they were talking smack about me leaving, thinking that I'm better than them or whatever (just to note, we're not even friends! The audacity 😂). Some folks are just downright horrible people.
Outstanding point by Ludwig about the „being forced to act nice“ part. Close to no one realizes that this is the case for TH-camrs, politicians, CEOs and pretty much everyone that is somewhat famous. That’s why they are so shocked and often hate a person that is real, not knowing the people they follow and like are probably as bad or in other words also just a human…
Yeah, I dealt with a similar situation with my ex and used-to-be close friends. Created a group chat, shit-talked and villainized me, and took everything EXTREMELY out of proportion. It really psychologically messed me up. The point of me saying this is to express myself as a human being that this is stuff that happens and what some people have to go through, I'm not saying this to cause more drama. If you're one of the unfortunate people going through this, just know that you're an amazing person, try not to let the situation ruin your brain, and get professional help. Regardless if you're the one not at fault in the situation, getting professional help is important to growing, understanding, and help be a better person overall.
Same! I get that person A may not like person B and thus feel like they need to rant but a lot of the times it just become a huge bitchfest and people starts getting satisfaction talking shit and creating false rumours. It got to the point where person C hasn't even met person B but would talk nasty shit about them or actively try to ruin their reputation as if person B did something to them. I hope you are feeling a lot better now.
I think its harder to be a good person ngl. I mean having an actually normal and healthy moral compass helps but for the most part I think everybody realises that being a bad person gives you so many advantages and headstarts that from an objective standpoint, its easier to be successful if you betray, sabotage, lie etc. But most people also have atleast a semi-normal moral compass so yeah just don't be a shitty person.

be proud of yourself, you should know that during the developmental phase of adolescence, your emotional capacities go haywire. the older you get, you realize life isn't a loop and that, once you come to accept your past, you're free from the cycle. really, if you talk with most reasonable adults, they'll understand. nobody thinks in black and white as much as teenagers and kids, who have nothing better to do than be vocal on the internet. what i do when i have moments of self agonizing realization is just write as if i'm going to send a letter to someone about said memory and throw it away. for example, i wrote to a high school bully about how much i hated their guts for what they did to me, but if i had to rewind time to the day we met for the first time- strangely, i didn't want to hurt them back or anything. i just wanted them to never come into contact with my life again. and that realization just suddenly made me let go of something i'd spent years crying myself to sleep over. crazy how the brain processes things. of course writing isn't for everyone and your problems might be more complex than mine, but i hope you're able to come into terms with your past because that's really when you're really free.

Anyone who uses the word tea to refer to drama automatically wants to create that drama.

wanting to be liked by others is such an infectious disease but its also extremely human of people, evolutionary and subconscious even. i agree with you that there is a culture online where you are forced to do certain things to appear morally just and correct but even then i still do kinda feel like there are creators online who *are* genuine and *do* want to do good, at least i know i try to be, but majority of the time those genuine people arent required to say they are that, they just do it yknow?
honestly i feel like no matter what these days when (not if, when) your skeletons get exposed and you have to write an apology for shit you did in the past its gonna get shat and clowned on no matter how perfect it is especially if youre apart of a marginalized group so really the only thing they could possibly do at this point in their situation is to take time offline or even move on from it and showcase that they have changed, itll take time and hurt money pockets but its so worth it in the end imo.
such inspiring words, can definitely feel the jealousy and desperation of the girls in the video. I hate how people try to feel connected by doing something they don’t even meant to do at the first place. Positivity is always a better solution in my opinion
i agree, i'm not trying to white knight the girls but rather than hating on them and saying how awful they are, i think there's more of an uncomfortable topic to be had about internet façades and how it meshes with the human psyche.
the internet itself is stressful, these girls may have said real awful crap, but that doesn't mean all of their niceness was ingenuine. a person's mood changes a lot in the course of a week and when you're in a superficial market, of course you'd have a crap ton of insecurities. not everyone has to have the same opinions and views, you don't have to support groups that make you uncomfortable (you still need to treat them with basic human respect), even if the whole of twitter tries coming down at you.
everyone deserves to have a safe space to vent and let out their negative emotions- people aren't always going to be kind and polite, that's just life- but the internet, of all places, is NOT the place to do it. something to note is that with the age of technology, those who are chronically online lose the ability to process their emotions because they chase dopamine on the internet, then, all that repressed thought and emotion just flood them and create a depressive/manic cycle. these girls really need to process things offline.

honestly kinda sad how the online environment made so many people so extremely toxic
All the internet did was expose it publicly
i think people are growing up weird with the internet. a lot of people nowadays have had unfiltered internet access from a young age and it just exposes you to a lot of different stuff at your very impressionable ages. its basically twitter and andrew tate teaching kids their morals and values. i think thats just purely because the internet is this new. our parents couldnt have known the effects of the internet but we, the ones growing up on it, do. i think its these newer generations job to properly have our kids grow up around the internet in order to prevent the extremes were dealing with today
Yeah I don’t think this was purely the online environment. I think it perpetuates what happens in person. Kids nowadays just can’t escape it when school ends which I’m kinda grateful I caught the tail end of.

@@Jay-uh6wq honestly this is creepy and cringy at most. it doesn't deserve to be blown out of proportion as it is now. Shameful? Yes. Crying over it while your wife behind you... That's a bit much.
@@BleachRush The one who suffers most here is definitely QT. I found this quote from DGG quite compelling:
"She's probably lost her handle on who she can trust and what portion of people around her are just lying to her. If she can't trust her partner's best friend to not pay for and support these sick people, then who can she trust? Even beyond the deep fakes, this clearly shows that Atrioc was more than happy to sexualize women who don't have that as apart of their brand/platform (Up until last year it seemed like Poki and Maya both intentionally avoided anything that could even be interpreted as a thirst trap). Clearly this was something that bothered her deeply before this happened, as people have commented that she pays a DMCA/clean-up service to take down fake nudes of her online. On a lesser level, this guy probably factors into most plans she makes personally given how close he is to Ludwig. Vacations and long-term planning could easily include Atrioc and his wife. When she closes her eyes and imagines her wedding, Atrioc is very likely the best man in that image."
@@Jay-uh6wq oh fuck when you put it that way.... Holy shit.
I was talking from an angle that sick fucks will keep making deepfakes of any Celebes, but when you put it in context of trust and how pressured those women are that can be sexualised so easily leaving no room to breath and having to be constantly on your feet .. I actually feel horrible now.
@Jay honestly, i wouldn't trust anyone in an industry that rewards narcissism and sociopathy.
Every time something like that comes out, I feel like i have to remind people that just because someone might be entertaining and successful doesn't mean they're a good person.
Honestly, my bar is ridiculously low. As long as the person that produces content that I consume keeps making the stuff I enjoy, I don't give a shit what they're like as a person

this is like 2014-2017 tumblr but even worse because all of these girls have 100k followers on twitter instead of 1k on tumblr. there's gonna be some real life consequences over this 😭

lesson fo rlife, if someone feels the need to tell everyone " they hate drama" it's because they're the type of person who always finds themselves in drama.....
actually true
not really. I've told people I dislike drama, and indeed the last drama I was directly involved in was in 2011 when I was in 6th grade.
I mean that’s not exactly a bad thing. People become involved in so much drama that they start hating it, aint nothing new
or they are just a Twitter user.
I don't understand how you all use Twitter normally without seeing drama every single day. I make friends? They retweet and talk about drama. I follow an artist? Drama. TH-camrs and streamers? Drama. Bots and image posting? idk. I start being very strict on who to follow? Still drama somehow.
I don't use Twitter normally. What I do is make Twitter lists and use any alternative front-end to the site that hides liked tweets and retweets. It works really well. It's not flawless but I don't complain.
I tried muting words. It doesn't work.

Man I thought this vid was going to be about Big A and was shocked Lud would do a vid on it.
Probably not, even QT on twitter demanded people stop talking about it and spreading the information around.
Calling out lilypitchu because she has anime voice meanwhile their entire personality is being cute and being egirl (so anime voice too) is the funniest shit ever lol, what do you think you are popular for lol?
Jealousy is a nasty emotion
Those final words hit different with the Atrioc apology this morning LOL
Whilst not obligated to do so, and as it's a very personal topic, I'm interested to see how Lud approaches the Atrioc news. Hope everything's okay and you're working through it.
I'm also going to be graduating from FIU soon and this is so sad to see how the gc talked shit to this sweet human
i wonder if atrioc will be covered on mogul mail
Dont hold your breath =)
Me and atrioc doubling down. Bout to deep fake chat members moms into a back shot compilation
Atrioc gonna be in the next mogul mail :(

@@willjones9392 yep exactly what u said. Lud will 100% not say a word about any of this cause of QT. She was pissed when she tweeted about the deepfake vid of her lmaoooo I don’t blame her but I mean it’s literally a fake vid it’s not even like it’s really her. But yea it’s sucks and people are gonna be like “🤓well ur not a famous streamer so obviously you wouldn’t understand the social pressures and public backlash that such a video could cause to a person!” Loool it sucks that big A did a classic leaktrioc like always but I think people are making this out to be way bigger than it is. it's valuable to learn about it in the sense that these girls earn their money from their supporters, and more people would know not to support them
it's also insane how that person will say they hate drama and talking about people behind their backs while literally doing just that. and their fatphobia was also just beyond deranged

All I ever wanted to do in my life was forget about everything I ever did in high school. These people sound exactly like people I knew in high school. All this does is remind me of how stupid I was in high school and how I someone became infamous for the dumbass things I did. I dwell on them in everything I do. I feel doomed to repeat them so I just don't really talk to people and don't drive fast. Everything in like middle school and high school, I would take all of it back. Every last moment in high school did not matter one bit, it just made me feel worse and dwell on mistakes more. I hate it. That is how it feels seeing these kinds of messages. People being obnoxious and hateful towards someone without knowing them or actually talking to them. I don't know who these people are besides Amber and she shows how she tries to be body positive on Instagram but I guess it really is a complete facade. I thank these people for making me remember all the stupid things I remember from high school that still stuck with me. I'm not gonna sleep. I was such a idiot.
self-discorvery is amazing, and i think you are doing well !
be proud of yourself, you should know that during the developmental phase of adolescence, your emotional capacities go haywire. the older you get, you realize life isn't a loop and that, once you come to accept your past, you're free from the cycle. really, if you talk with most reasonable adults, they'll understand. nobody thinks in black and white as much as teenagers and kids, who have nothing better to do than be vocal on the internet.
what i do when i have moments of self agonizing realization is just write as if i'm going to send a letter to someone about said memory and throw it away. for example, i wrote to a high school bully about how much i hated their guts for what they did to me, but if i had to rewind time to the day we met for the first time- strangely, i didn't want to hurt them back or anything. i just wanted them to never come into contact with my life again. and that realization just suddenly made me let go of something i'd spent years crying myself to sleep over. crazy how the brain processes things.
of course writing isn't for everyone and your problems might be more complex than mine, but i hope you're able to come into terms with your past because that's really when you're really free.
Let's be real for a moment. EVERYONE has skeletons in their closet that they don't want to be let out. All we can really do is hope that our favorite content creator's skeletons aren't too terrible.
And some people just say everything theyve done in their years of growing up, if i were to become famous i would literally spill everything so people from my real life cant have leverage on me or sell stories to news sites, like i admit ive done things wrong
none of my skeletons look like this bro. I've done shitty stuff but I've never reached this level of hypocrisy and pettiness in my life ever
Wondering what the next Mogul Mail should be about
It's so surprising to hear that Ludwig and Slime's group chat got leaked 😔
That'd be filled with fart jokes let's be honest
am somewhat wondering if the next mogul mail will be the obvious
Atrioc is next
This whole convo is a lot more ironic with the new drama that has recently came out.
The crazy part is people STILL idolize terrible people, so when trash people who act "good" do bad things, they often get away with it because of how "successful" they are.
man you literally described one of the main problems of society
ayo atriocs is in some hot water right now
LilyPichu is so talented musically and creatively. People really sleep on her.
Truth
Honestly think her mistake was not trying hard to pop off, I think she waited too long after the lol part of her career to fully transition into the music part. Also feel that her content is better suited in youtube videos than streaming. But if shes happy who cares.
@@chanmalichan4946 counter argument: she dodged all the crazy fans and now her fanbase is built on an established and wholesome foundation. Shes already a multi-millionaire, has a genius comedian boyfriend, and is surrounded by supportive friends. I aint glazing cuz I dont watch her, but from other random OTV videos that popped up in my recommended feed, that seems to be the situation.
That's good thing because more she outside of true relevance it's better for career and mental health
