Winter time as an arborist….. yeah, that’s the only time I’m ever filing a W-2. Like pulling teeth to get a tree job. And then it’s some frozen oak with nearly 3 tons of ice on its branches and a frozen solid trunk. Then the customer ask, “why are you charging over 1k for this tree?” It’s Winter…. If you’re still cutting, it’s firewood. Any sawyer worth half his wit is working the same elsewhere…… (We make it up in the hurricane season.)

I’ve downed too many trees that wanted to “reach out and take you down with it” in the winter…. If I’m cutting winter, I’m cutting money. Period.
Yeah the cold can be a little more dangerous!
