This was probably the tour I saw them on, at their first US show In philly. The band and like 15 of us were in the restroom, passing around 3 blunts in a circle before the show...I've never and will never be that high again lol. The bass from their concert was so fucking deep that it's the only concert in my life that I felt like the sound was going to make me puke; it hit so physically deep. Besides the drummer oddly playing double bass for most of the show, it was just beyond fucking amazing. Favorite show of my life.
This set is something that will never be done again with current incarnation of the band, great video I appreciate the effects, it’s makes the video feel like a trip, one might say ,a “return trip” to the original Electric Wizard.
Seems that he used a SVT and a Bassman while recording Dopethrone. I had great results using a bassman with a Big Muff in front of. Equalization and compression helps a lot tho.
The sound is amazing. And the fact that that camera picked up Jus’s vocals so well despite being less than ten feet from a Full stack is crazy impressive.

Dopethrone is epic
That's sick man, it's really hard to find a EW show that sounds this good, that cig part was priceless hahahaha

Electric Wizard needs Bagshaw and Greening to return for this set to be done right
@@nightoftheshape Agreed the original electric Wizard was dangerously raw, Tim and Mark brought catastrophic energy together

This should be professionally restored and put in the Smithsonian and the Library of Congress.

Give me a day or two and I’ll get back to you. I think I have a pretty good idea of what he’s using here but I want to research a bit first.
@@fancykarlmarx Good research! Excited to see your answer.
