This is such a great time to start a bullet journal -- when it's summer, and you may not have a ton going on. You get a little comfortable with the new planner system (whatever you choose that to be) and THEN chaos ensues when school starts and you're ready. Highly recommend starting ASAP because I had the best year grade wise after I started bullet journaling.

Thank god for this series. Its so helpful because it's so hard to find examples for students. If you find examples, its more of a decorative spread instead of a useful spread. You need to carful if you're using those erasable pens. They make the paper weak. If you erase a lot on one spot, you can make a hole in the page. (Btw I'm not a native speaker so there might be some mistakes)
The other Problem with the erasable pens is that they react to heat, be careful in the summer and dont leave then in the car! Otherwise a once full notebook might be empty by the time you come back

That's awesome (...the notebook, not the needing of the notebook LOL)...oh yeah, calculus has a ton of formulas! During my first year calc class, every time they introduced a new one I'd internally yell "whyyyyyy?!" 😂
I just finished 6th semester (of 9) of engineering and I don't have more than 5-6 sheets of formulas. And i don't think I will need more. Don't worry, its not that intense :)
Hi, Caitlin! I found that the Frixion Ball Knock 07 erasable pens are amazing! They don't bleed through on the paper I've used (which is pretty thin and cheap)! They also come in really fun colors! Just wanted to share this. :D

Hi ! I just want to tell you about a problem I got with erasable pen : if you tend to write in front of a window or outside, you risk to see your ink disappear. Indeed, erasable pen ink tend to erase itself under the sun (due to the high temperature, I guess? ) I hope this won't happen to you ! Take care xoxo
At the beginning of the semester, I don't copy down everything from the syllabus into my planner because my professors tend to move deadlines and take away assignments and stuff like that. So, I only plan it a month at a time with only the due dates for papers and tests marked in advance.
I put the module name and how the marks for that course are spread (eg exams, coursework ect) before term started. I left putting the detail in to a table on the opposite page till last in the semester.
Ok - here's a big question: these trackers should be grouped into sections like Health Care Academic Records Scheduling Sports & Classroom Guides & should they ALL be put in the BuJo @ the front - before ANY MONTHLY or weekly

Watch out with those erasable pens! The ink is heat-sensitive, so if you use them make sure the page doesn't get left in the sun (for example) as the ink will be "erased"
those pens are great but the ink can disappear in heat. As in you don't want the ink to disappear but you leave your journal in a hot car. The ink may disappear

I just wanted to thank you for filling out a fake page for us to see...because I've watched too many videos where most of the journal is covered up or blurred so as not to reveal personal information. I'm glad they're being safe, but it's not very helpful if I can't see the layout!
honestly I can't go back to pages like trackers and stuff like that, I always forget about it and it just annoys me. I'm still trying to figure out a way to have that stuff front and center without over crowding my pages
I can understand that...I like to use them as ways to get me to update my journal but perhaps find another method such as tracking things within your daily/weekly spreads as opposed using a separate page :)

You can do whichever you want! For me with monthly spreads I put then all together at the start because I want to put in deadlines for the next month if I need to. Whereas weekly I do it as I go. Find whatever works for you! 💕
