We have had terrible experiences with zucchini. I’m out on growing it. 😬
My MIL has great luck, but bugs take mine by the 4th zucc each time.
This is a great idea. I don’t have a freeze dryer, but do have a dehydrator. Maybe we can try this with her stuff this summer.
I'm going to do the dehydrator too just to compare. I used to have bug problems, but I discovered that with zucchini I can plant it late, it's past the prime bug season, and there's still plenty of time for it to grow.
Thank you for going there lol...I feel about the same as you do about zucchini! I want going to plant any this year because i still have some shredded left. But maybe I'll now try this!

If you have a good seal, I don't think you should be able to open with your thumb.
That could be reason why your softening up
