UNRA has revamped Pallisa and Kumi Town Roads....SEE VIDEO

  • The Government of Uganda (GOU) earmarked funds for the National Roads Development and Maintenance Programme (NRDMP) and is applying part of the funds towards payment under the Contract for the Civil Works for The Upgrading of Selected Town Roads in Pallisa and Kumi from Gravel to Paved (Bituminous) Standard.
    The project is funded by government of Uganda through a contract which was signed on 24th April,2023 between Uganda National Roads Authority Acting on behalf of Government and Arab Contractors (Ahmed Osman Ahmed & Co). The Project commenced on 15th June,2023 and the expected completion date is 15th March,2025.
    The project is in the Eastern part of Uganda in Palisa Town and Kumi Municipality.
    The roads cover a total length of about 20km and form an important access to the National roads of Soroti-Mbale, Tirinyi Palisa-Kumi and Palisa Kamonkoli.

    Well done. There is need for some street lighting and trees to make the works have a finished look.
