It's 2023 and I'm still listening to this genius tune. It's like all my emotions in one piece of music. Love, sadness, excitement, happiness, peace...... Everything xxx
Stunning.... I bought the CD version 25 years ago, this version was the best!! sat here with headphones on, tears of joy rolling down my face.... this is one of the best prog trance tracks EVER written :)
I took a strong pill when this was released, and it is without question a masterpiece. I just shut my eyes, laid in bed, and the strongest spiritual experience ive ever had bar none!
Excitingly melancholic. 2 big words. Trance and underground deep progressive house. David guetta take note. Special time when 90s and early millennium club life was a sub culture. Cry to this or getting unbelievably baked with a trip on musical excellence
20 years old now and still total genius!! Never forget when Pete Tong first played it :) I have 12 inch and cd and met one of my best friends by playing this in the club I DJ' ed at back in the day :)
I remember first hearing this on Kiss Fm in London in 1995 either Graham Gold or Judge Jules played it Saturday night (maybe they both did) as I was getting ready to go out. The kind of tune that never gets stale. It's now 25 years old - amazing!
Love this also, have the CD years but this track is scratched, was played out weekly at parties opening the minds of so many people I knew who at the time hated "Dance" music.....
This is the tune that made me want to start djing. Incredible journey. Well worth the length, and best of the 20 min tunes that were out about then. Blue Amazon came close tho!
Still gives goosebumps when the orchestra kicks in :-) whatever happened to music that makes you feel good not just depressed or angry? lol Many Thanks for posting this :-)
Nicky Holloway dropped this in Ku, Ibiza June ‘95. If ever there was a venue fit for this tune, it was Ku. ‘Faithless - Salva Mea’ also sounded unbelievable on that system that night.
If I had a pound for every time someone says ‘Why isn’t this on Spotify?’ on TH-cam... Spotify is shite for people into oldskool 90’s house music. The underground stuff. Even much of the stuff that crossed over, you can’t get hold of the specific mixes of the tunes. That’s the reason I’m not on it. Stick with TH-cam. Every tune is on here.
@@VoiceOfThe I agree with that comment so much - can anyone tell me the point of Spotify? - everything's on TH-cam or other places (which aren't Spotify). And the fact that they're asking it while listening to it on You Tube doesn't even make sense.
@@Mycars4me Well, someone replied 2 years ago and missed it but i'm still sceptical. There's defenitely a sampler for orchestral things being used next to the violin play. Next to Roland also E-Mu had some awesome orchestral samples/sampler modules. Can't find anything for that choir by Schmidt Ensemble online and the violin can be (a) piece(s) taken from an existing recording already because can't find the actual release on the page of Simon Standage. Don't get me wrong though, amazing production nonetheless :)

The best tune ever, hands down, without a doubt, uncontested. They don't make them like this anymore.

9:28 is for me where my inner self just submits fully. This is the point of no return, where no matter what, i have to hear to the epic climax.
Love the original... but from 7.45 onwards this is as close to perfection as you can get. Beautiful
I agree about the original but I take my top hat off to this mix ⚖️❤️🎼🎵🎶🍉
With all the madness going on in the world right now this is a 20 minute stress reliever ❤️
Love this also, have the CD years but this track is scratched, was played out weekly at parties opening the minds of so many people I knew who at the time hated "Dance" music.....

Fantastic track
Utterly EPIC!!! As good today as it was in '95. Are they talking about God?

There is an advert halfway through a song like this
TOP NOTCH!
Why is this not on Spotify?!! My all time favourite progressive track.

One of my all time favourite tracks - does anyone know anything about he orchestra that recorded this????
Dude.... samples. Nothing orchestra.
Roland top off the line sampler synths.....
Violin - Simon Standage, Choir - Schmidt Ensemble & Written-By -
Jonathan David Crosse , Steve Hitchcock
@@PgTrAxX hang on are u sure... i was sure i read something in the inlay card about an orchestra...
