That must be the original Roses sign on the interior. They've been using the version in the oval like you see in the beginning of the video on the exterior since at least the late 80's. Roses it's self is a rare sight anymore. They were a great department store in their day but the few remaining locations have become discount stores like Big Lots used to be.
Such a sad, dreary little place; it breaks my heart to see this sad, broken little mall as it slowly plods on. And SHAME ON YOU BELK, for sealing off your mall entrance! Nothing like abandoning your old friends to keep a business going, eh guys? Maybe we should create a new Discord adverb for when a store closes off their mall entrance, something like, say, "belked," as in "That poor mall got "belked" by all its anchor stores!" Just a thought... Great vid, as always!
They closed the entrance because they couldn't stop all the theft that was happening via that entrance. Don't blame the company, blame the people that steal.
