I was born and raised there, and visit as often as I can. It was an amazing place to be fortunate enough to grow up in. Thank you for this wonderful tour.

I lived in Port Washington for almost 12 years. I miss this place so much. I left several friends there and would like to come back soon to visit them. Thanks for showing PW to the world. Hugs from Brazil.

I was born, raised, and lived there for 23 years, and I learned a lot from this. Very well done and I appreciate your doing this. Great to know Finns and shish kebab are still around!

Do they have a public beach?

I think the North Hempstead Beach Park is public. It's a 7 minute drive from town.
