Dimash is a god, a king, a superhuman being. He's crazy phenomenal!
Dimash's name is Qudaibergen (in the old transcription, Kudaibergen). 'Qudai' means 'God,' 'bergen' means 'given' in the Kazakh language. "KudaibergenOV" is a Russian distortion of his name. Please, pay attention to the white-shirted gentleman, who was the first to stand up and applaud, because you will meet him again once you watch "The Love of the Weary Swans". He is Ivan Krutoy, a celebrated Russian music writer. He invited Dimash to Moscow to sing the song, which Dimash did in several occasions, with Ivan Krutoy accompanying him behind the piano: first in the Kremlin Congress Palace, subsequently in many other places. "The Swans" was elected the "Best Song of 2018" in January 2019, and Dimash, of course sang it in the award ceremony. -- The current "Sinful Passion" was what Dimash sang in Sochi, summer 2018, in honour of the Kazhak band "Studio-A." It is a masterful, wonderful, princely performance. The Oriental section towards the end of the song puzzles every commentator: "What is that?" Dimash, once again, creates his own beautiful world, which we, his fans and DEARS, may only admire and adore.

Love your mentioning some tidbit about the Kazakh language. Is it related to Turkish? Because they sound so similar! I'm a language nerd myself and really love finding connections between languages and how different sounds and pronunciations are exchanged.
DEAR Mickelina81, the Kazakh language belongs to the Turkic family of languages. Since the bgeinning of 2018 the Kazakh language must be written in Latin letters (the ones we use), instead of the Cyrillic letters which had been used until a year ago. -- Nice to meet another language freak.

They pronounce his last name differently in Russia and his first name differently in China. But He is DImash Kudaibergen in his home country of Kazakhstan.

Thank you. He's simply the best. I see someone explained about the "-ov". For a woman, it would be "-ova"...remember the Soviet Union "possessed" Kazakhstan. You'll never hear Dimash use the suffix - he is very proud to be a Kazakh. DKIFC/USA
Although, it's worth pointing out that if you're looking for his official Instagram or Facebook pages, you need to search for kudaibergenov.dimash and kudaibergenov.dimashii respectively! (Instagram is verified with a tick.)

how to describe how good he is? well people just simply couldn't say enough more good about him. perhaps what we can say is 'he is not one of the best, he is best of the best'. yep!, he is really that good. currently Dimash and his manager team are testing the water by joining a TV show called 'The World's Best' on CBS in the US. a bigger platform to showcase his gifted talent and appeal to the US audience. not to prove or win but to try to break into the US mainstream. if he breaks it, he will fly as high as he wants in the US.

A few more words about the Kazakh language: The Kazakhstan government, after years of indecision, decreed that as of the beginning of 2018 the Kazakh language will be be written in the Latin alphabet, instead of the Cyrillic, which had been in use for many decades -- imposed by the Russians. Since the Latin alphabet actually is inadequate for writing any language other than Latin, there always needs to be modifications: so-called diacritic marks or letters borrowed from other languages. The Q in Kazakh, Arabic, Hebrew, etc. (which used to be a K, with a diacritic comma underneath) is not far from the K in other languages. The K is what is called an "explosive" (in line with T and P) in phonetics, with the distinction that the explosion of K happens in the mouth, but the explosion of Q happens in the throat. The English language is short of Q (even if you know it in writing).

Ага! Можно подумать, что другие страны не гордятся талантами :)) К тому же сбрехал что Димаш победил, хотя он занял второе место, переврал название песни и фамилию Димаша :) Айтбаева назвал Кудайбергеновым :) то что Кудайберген (Богом данный) это прозвище до его маленьких мозгов видимо не довели :)
А уж его постоянные сравнения Димаша с самовлюбленной бездарностью басковым - вообще ниже всякой критики

Lo puse por que hacía tiempo que no reaccionaba a este cantante y muchas personas me pedían mi reacción, el “bochinchero” lo que dice es que después de mucho tiempo aquí por fin esta el video. Trato de hacer que mi contenido sea único, entretenido y gracioso, no are videos aburridos de yo sentada reaccionando, hablando y después me voy, le doy vida a mis videos con mi personalidad y mi humor y al que no le guste fácilmente se puede ir.
