I completely agree with Mr. Kishore Sharma. The colleges don’t consider the skills and caliber of the students before taking admission. For example, I know of a PGDM College called iFEEL Institute of Management. The process for admission is quite amazing. The students’ marks up till the graduation level need consistent. Aptitude test, general knowledge, a couple of personal interview rounds, etc are conducted before taking the students.
Hype is always about doing an MBA. But many fail to understand that doing a PGDM is equal to an MBA. The difference is it costs less than an MBA. Also the entrance exam and other restrictions are not here in PGDM. It surely filters out the best from the lot. Popular B schools in India like Calcutta Business School offer great course modules in PGDM and shapes the future with great care and business sense.
