You have inspired me to ceramic coat my Mini myself! Last summer I wasted $375 by having a local shop take care of the ceramic coat for me, and they ended up destroying one of my window washer jets as well as the plastic clips holding in my headlight trim rings. I think it just goes so far to take the time to do the work yourself for things involving the way your car looks.
Ceramic coat products have gotten pretty DIY friendly over the years, definitely look into doing it yourself if you have the time. Its pretty satisfying!
That car looks great with the black wheels. I don't think I would have gone the DIY route on a basically brand new car's wheels, opting for the expense of powder coating, or just buying new wheels and saving the stock ones for a later date. I just don't have the guts. I did, however, paint the cheap steel wheels on my son's little Nissan Versa 5 speed (they come with plain black steelies) with a really good looking dark bronze. They look so much better and the cheap rattle can Rustoleum seems to be holding up well. Plus, I can just touch them up or re-hit them all with a different color if he decides he wants to try something new. Great video!
great spec, the wheels ended up awesome! i don’t know how it much costs but i would have changed that chrome trimming to give that final touch. really enjoyed the series!
best I can do is about tree fiddy Haha I really did think about buying some used wheels, but I figured plasti dipping would make for better content. Also, I probably wouldn't even want wheels that fit within the budget I had set for this series. Really appreciate you watching and leaving a comment!
I installed an eventuri intake manifold for my 2023 clubman JCW keep on lighting up the engine light and one time with the engine light on drivetrain warning came on and lost power. Trying to contact the eventuri no luck they have no customer support and the time is so hard to get a hold of them from England to California (north Berkeley). Although I bought from a third party ECS tuning, and also trying to get a hold of them. I just got it last March 2023. I should had get DINAN. I like your work.

Can we get a 5 month review going over items you did that you love and hate?
Love the wheels, would be curious how they are holding up.

Great tips, I’ll be using some of them on my Cooper, thanks and subscribed 👍
Still the only chrome is the belt line. If you are patient with it, it looks good for $30, much cheaper than the $500 for the factory trim

I used electrical tape to de-chrome the trims around the windows, It is cheap, and I am happy with the result :-)
It looks really good 👍🏻 I recently discovered the spray can handle when I sprayed my engine cover. Best £7 spent.
Well done brother. I have the electric version of your car with suspension modifications, big brake kit, Enkei RPF1 wheels.
I like the wheel the way it was in silver.
You do? I thought it looked better in black - thanks for watching anyway!
Looks good! Wish you lived near me as I have my wheels off my 22 that I would have sold you, they are the same exact wheel but are black.

@@MasterOfNoneMechanic love the South Park reference. Yeah I just want them gone out of my shed so I would have worked with you.
Great fun, I too have a love for Minis and enjoyed watching your videos!

Thank you! I'm curious, what made you want to change the intake manifold?
@@MasterOfNoneMechanic more air flow to the turbo and had a better sound coming under the bonnet, one huge mistake.
Doesn't the JCW get a LSD? Or do all F56 gen Cooper S models get it? That would make a big... pardon the pun... DIFF! haha
