This is not a new series, it is just an update for a romhack he has already played called "Nightmare". You should watch go watch the earlier playthrough, it's basically dark souls meets Zelda in terms of difficulty.
I remember how this used to be the best thing ever when I was only 14 and when modding OoT was just switching around vanilla actors and stuff and how I wanted to learn how to do it myself when there were little to no tutorials at the time. xD
52:18 Kinda weird that the Mad Scrubs don't have a Palette Swap, when most of the other Enemies do, especially since there ARE Color Swaps for the Scrubs from Horror-themed Zelda 64 Rom Hacks.
Other than Textures, I don't know. Gonna be honest, I'm sick of the OoT Rom Hacks that only change the Actors around, and nothing else. Like, is it asking too much that we get a Version of Vanilla Ocarina of Time that includes the Decomp Enemies at least (Pols Voice, Rats, Bone Ball, Garo, Wizzrobes, Stalmaster, etc)?
Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe the way to resolve the Issue with the Shadow Temple was to use a different Emulator where the Graphics didn't glitch out on you. I note that Cosmic Cleric had to switch Emulators in order to gain entry into the Blue Portals in Master of Time that kept Softlocking him from completing the Game. Maybe something similar needs to be done here?
I don't know what the hacker's intentions were with putting in generic crowd noises in all the overworld places but unless it was to annoy players, it failed because above all things, they quickly get annoying.
Looks like an overall improvement on the original! That gave you all kinds of trouble......which is saying something, given the "fun" you're having with this version!
I like the mods and effects but Jesus Christ that's some first grader writing, "man there's not enough time. I hope you can wake him in time. The time is running out to wake him. Wake him now that time is still there. Time is now. Get to the choppa"
Okay, because the part where you Overlooked the Eye Switch in the Room of Spirit Temple that links The Entrance Room with the Statue Room annoyed me to no end, please remember about an Eye Switch from the Master Quest version of the Spirit Temple you had to shoot in order to get a Key.
What kind of romhack is this? Sorry. I just can't sit through an hour yt video. If there are key moments to be mentioned though, I'd be up for seeing them.
