People need to stop with the "good old days" nostalgia and stop seeing the past through rose-tinted glasses. I swear, people everywhere are convinced that the town they grew up in was once great but has since gone to the dogs. They ignore that older people were saying the exact same thing when they were growing up, so whether a place was any good was entirely a function of people's age and perception.
@@joinjen3854 ignore him/her. People all over Florida, and other places for that matter, are constantly convinced that their hometown was once great but has now been ruined. Mostly they cannot give any reasons, other than "there are too many people here now", ignoring the fact that they too likely moved there from somewhere else and was once the unwanted new people.
You might want to check iut Muberry Florida in Polk County someday.Quaint little downtown- theater,,historical museum-exhibition,phosphate mountains and the home base for Babcock furniture.Polk City nearby would be cool also.

I lived in Sebring for 18months and loved Sebring. I now live in Avon Park and so very much wish and deeply desire to move back to Sebring!
