In this video, we put these two popular models to the test to see if you can tell the difference between the footage coming out of them. The dji fpv has a gopro hero 8 on top and the dji avata was uses just the camera it has on the drone. I also crashed my DJI Avata at end of the video.

Use the timecode in the button right corner to guess what footage was shot with DJI avata and what was with DJI fpv wi the GoPro hero 8 on top :)
Sweet video my man, I am SO ON THE FENCE as to which one to get first!! I want them both for precisely what they are both good at doing, FPV = Fast epic shots & AVATA for smooth Cinematic shots. I'll likely get the AVATA first to learn with, then move into the FPV for the fast stuff. BUT DAMN its hard to decide, especially when you put them side by side like this!!! For what it's worth - here we go:

Dji Fpv is not only better,the difference is like day and night...
Depends for what, avata is better for close shoots without wind.
In windy environments it’s hard to fly but doable.
I use the DJI avata much more then DJI fpv just because it’s so much easier to carry and does the same job

When your using the nd filter for the GoPro, what are your settings?
Hey, My settings are as follow:
4k - 4:3 - 25 frames
Lens - Wide
Hypersmooth - off
Bitrate - High
Shutter - 1/100
White Balance - 5000k
Iso min - 100
Iso max - 100
When you run this trough gyroflow or gopro stabilization you will get a 16:9 resolution and great quality.

hello everyone im from EC which the best Fpv or avata i'l need to fly medium 10-12 mins with more speed and range id like to be 3-4 km
Dji Avata for beginners. There are rumors that DJI avata v2 is coming out in a few months if not before.
Man really cool shots unbelievable shots but i really want to know which i should buy i think I don't need durability for the drone but i want more speed for the drone to have like for me better experience so should i take dji fpv over the dji avata
Hey brother, thanks for the question. My best advice is to buy the dji avata with Axis flying kit. It will make your avata fast and agile while you have protection in case of crash.
I will be making a tutorial how the dji avata + axis = amazing. With my settings and luts anyone can achieve beautiful shoots.

Man thanks for the answer but for me I just all through want the speed like directly from the drone not their party tools make it faster yea I understand you're point that the DJI avata IS obviously better than the DJI fpv like the camera the propeller gets Infront of the DJI fpv but I'm okay with it so like i want to have more speedy type of drone so could use it for my self then after it i will try dji avata. I just somehow like more the DJI fpv but I cannot underestimate DJI avata BCS I haven't tested it yet

Would’ve been better to see the FPV against the Avata without the GoPro
It’s no match, avata would destroy DJI fpv as the camera on the DJI fpv is not good. It’s actually t horrible

Some fab shots there but one isn’t the FPV if you are shooting with a GoPro lol
It wouldn’t be fair to compare it to DJI fpv without GoPro as the DJI fpv camera is horrible. Avata would destroy it without a doubt

If I color grades the footage? Yes I did. I whole in RAW and grade in davinchi resolve
