Ravenous was done correctly in the first video, like others said as soon as you hit level 4 you become ravenous
This is looking as fun as I’d hoped. I wasn’t really planning to play the zombie mode much but these two videos are winning me over.
Totally agree! I figured i would always play as non-zombie heroes but zombie mode looks pretty great!
Regarding timing of Ravenous, I think your correction is correct. The comments below are incorrect. From the official FAQ:
If an effect gives me a free Action but also increases my Hunger to the point where I am Ravenous, can I still perform that Action?
Yes. Ravenous only prevents you from choosing or selecting actions while already in the Ravenous state.
Becoming Ravenous during an Action does not impact that Action in any way.
This is why I usually only listen to official sources! So many people said I was wrong. Too late now as the series is done but thanks for letting me know.
I think you are doing ravenous wrong. Someone confused you in the last video. The rulebook states pretty clearly that as soon as you hit max you become ravenous
around 10:36 Looks like Rush only activates the enemies spawned by the card. Page 17 "Rush When a player draws an Enemy Rush card, the Enemies placed by that card immediately perform an Activation after being placed."
Yea it’s just the ones spawned. And rightly so as this game is hard enough if luck is against you lol. I’ve been playing a lot of 2ed to get use to the core rules that all of these share. I have a lot of trouble keeping people alive 😆
I like the way this plays with the hunger. Really makes you think how to act to maximize your turns.
Had my first play on this last weekend, glad we played the scene mostly true to the rules, this helped clear up questions! Thank you very much!! Probably going to run a solo mission on avengers tower also, it’s so much fun lol

Where does it state the effects of being ravenous only apply to the zombie hero on the next turn? I cant find it. The rules online state once the zombie hero’s hunger reaches 4 they become ravenous , and the only actions they can perform are move and devour. If the are still ravenous at the end of their turn they take 1 damage.

Correct
Blind Al would of moved towards the zombie heroes. Non combative bystanders always move towards the spawn point closest to them disregarding any heroes in her zone or any in her way.
The Runners getting an extra activation around 21:11 would only mean that they get to move the one space. Moving a space and attacking would be two activations. At least that's how it has worked in the previous iterations of this game.
A runner activation includes 2 actions and as far as i know it has been like that since the first iteration of the game
Are the missions balanced for 4 characters? I thought only the Resitance version was.
Yes, this game is designed for 4, and if you want to use 5 or 6, the rules tell you where to add a spawn point.
Have you played zombicide 2nd edition? If so, how does this compare as far as difficulty level? I feel that 2nd edition is just too easy.
I don’t think it was 2nd edition I played. It it was a long time ago so I’m not sure.

No, I’m not. I’m using a normal camera on a tripod angled slightly down.
