What’s your favourite lolita fashion brand / style? Btw, Super Thanks is now available if you want to help me buy my little sister some Boba tea! (As a thanks for helping me colouring some of the lolita fashion drawings in this video. ♡)
I wanted to add something about ouji fashion. Most of the japanese lolita brands that do sell ouji fashion (not all of them do) tend to make them for a female demographic. This means that most of the time their sizing for ouji items is the same as their sizing for their lolita dresses. There are some exceptions, as some items may be released in a men's size as well. But most of the time ouji items from japanese brands tend to be their standard women's size. This can make it much more difficult to find ouji items that fit if you are amab and interested in ouji items from japanese lolita brands.
Thank you for making this video, I only recently became interested in fashion and I’m a big fan of Japanese subcultures :) The vid was super for me to digest!!
I love you videos, Ive watched all of them and genuinely hope more people get to see your content. Your videos are well paced, clean looking, good audio quality, your voice is nice and the topics are interesting. It feels like you're going into these topics with genuine curiosity so the outcome seems personal in a way? I love these topics you do videos on, especially lolita. keep up the amazing work and I hope you get the attention these videos deserve just a suggestion but I suggest adding audio to your transition frames, as someone who typically watches content like this while doing other things, I wanna know what the transition of topics is, but even without it, the transitions r clean
Thank you so much for your comment. I'm glad to know that you love my content and also pay great attention to it. This made my day (or my week, even). As a person who watch videos while drawing, I understand your experience. I could try saying the topic (or the paraphrased version of it) after the transition and see if it works. Again, thank you so much. I really appreciate your comment.
That's very understandable, I consider it a luxury hobby. Even if you only picked lower budget options you need so many components that it still ends up costing more than a mainstream outfit. If you compare it to fast fashion the difference between the price of a lolita outfit and the price of a mainstream outfit is staggering. I'm old enough to remember buying clothes before the fast fashion boom, and I never got into it because I knew it wasn't sustainabe. So I still consider 3€ for a new shirt really strange, but I also understand that for people who grew up with that everything else probably looks too expensive. The cheapest lowest quality lolita dress is still like 5 to 8 times the price of a fast fashion dress. Many people just wait to do anything with lolita fashion until they have a job with some expendable income.
I'm Russian, I like the Lolita style, and the fact that my favorite song from the Nutcracker ballet, "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" is playing in the background🩷 (sorry if some words may not be translated correctly, I wrote this through a translator)
This is a very good video!! But mana is a guitarist, not a singer! Also, why did you never mention old school lolita? It's a very common lolita style, I would even say it's one of the main ones!
Hi thanks for your comment. Really appreciated. I have no excuse as to why I didn't cover the Old School. I have seen the style but I didn't know it was called Old School lolita. So thank you so much for pointing this out ♡
Good video. I only really liked Gothic Lolita. The only TH-camr I used to watch in this particular style was Rose Nocturnalia. However she hasn't been active for a long time & also deleted all of her past videos on her channel which is sad. I just hope she's OK & doing well.
@@kjrasa She's nice. I only watch and use only TH-cam because I don't use or like any social medias I don't know a lot of information on people that are not active on their channels anymore. I hope she's doing good as well.
@@itsalwayshalloweenexceptwh5118 Yeah it's too bad that a lot of people stop posting on their TH-cam channels I'm still subscribed and just in case they come back.
Loveeeed your video! As a person who's into Lolita fashion, I find it very clear and suitable for introducing the fashion to newbies. May I translate the video into my language (Vietnamese) to show to our comm in Vietnam? Your response would be of great help to me. Thank you!

As a gothic ouji girl, i refer to it as tomboy lolita sometimes 😅🖤🌹
@DancingC0rpse-vz8kx I think that's a cute description that communicates what the style is like in few words.
@@itsalwayshalloweenexceptwh5118 awww thank you so much!! 🖤🌹

I understand you. There are many fashion styles I want to try but sometimes they cost a bit much. Happy to know you enjoyed this video btw.
