My favorite fish is the Bettas. Got my first Betta ever a couple weeks ago and I can't believe how much I love their personality. I love the way they seems SUPER interested in you and whatever your doing in the tank.

Pygmy Cories are amazing. I accidentally started breeding them while they were in my 10 gallon quarantine. At the height of breeding, that 10 had close to 200 cories in it!
Chilli rasboras and more CPDs for my colony of them I already have. What are good tank mates for tiger barbs? I have an empty 75 gallon
Fish with short fins go well with tiger barbs. So plecos, corys and other short finned fish

I miss these unboxing videos. I also miss the videos of when Cory used to visit different people's fish rooms. It's nice to see lots of different fish to get inspiration for future tanks or just to find out about fish I'm never likely to keep but cool to see and know something about.
ever since i got back into fish keeping ive been really wanting a tank with celestial pearl danios and chili rasbora or phoenix rasboras, or mayb all 3!
I love the bettas, I’m going to be breeding some for years to come myself, I’m hopeful one day we will get B role of each betta once it’s settled into the rack the next day, it does sound time consuming and tedious to get shots of each betta maybe it could become its own unboxing mini series maybe along side inverts and plants “of the week” or something along those lines.

Love the unboxings, know they not great for the stats for you but as a viwer I always find them fun, and it's nice to see different varieties (very limited what i can get to my little island (Shapinsay, Orkney, Scotland) Also, thank you Robert for your realistic number suggestions, e.g. I agree 3 is what most books etc quote as a min for zebra loaches but I have 10 and the behaviour difference is well worth the tank space! And 24+ tiger barbs also v cool (though not as awesome as the 800 gallon was with them ;))

Owned Zebra loaches for years, probably one of my favorite fish. They have huge character and will devastate any snail problem.
How much time passes from the unboxing to when they are put to the sales floor? Or does it depend on the variety of fish?
I want to get a big school of chili rasboras and a big school of kubotai rasboras for my new 75 gallon!
Don’t sell Stiphodons as algae eaters. Hobbyist have to make sure they know how to make algae (brown algae or diatom). Most of these gobies starve in standard aquariums. They need harsh current (at least 5x tank volume) which creates bad environment for algae. Responsible shops would tell hobbyists this restriction.

Technically they're algae eaters though, you could just provide foods such as algae wafers as well.
@@jhaych I would be very careful with Stiphodon as some of them NEED diatom for growth and staying healthy. Calling this a great algae eater is just wrong as these guys need very clean water conditions and are not easy to feed healthy. People won’t have fun with these guys if they are dead after a couple of month. Don’t forget they -at the moment- haven’t been bred in an aquarium. None of these. Not even Jutta Bauer was able to succeed (Goby Specialist).

Ok so this is going to be waaay off topic but I came to the best fish keeping community that I know of in hopes of getting a decent answer.
I just had a friend of mine give me a 40 gallon tank for free. Nice grab I'd say except when he pulls up to drop it off he tells me some of the neighbors kids poured gasoline in the tank as it was sitting outside uninhabited halfway filled with rain water. I washed it down with dawn dish soap and it still smells like gasoline. Will washing it down again (possibly several more times) get it to a safe condition for fish again or is there something else I can do? Or is it just a big glass box now? Super odd I know, as I'm assuming nobody has ever run into this problem before but any advice or suggestions are welcome. Thanks

yall are actual heros for not recommending sorority tanks. Ive had luck with even some calm tempered male bettas in community tanks. no reason for multiple bettas ever
Can anybody tell me all of the ideal water parameters for oscars? Mine is 4 years old and hes 13 inches long so im doing something right. But considering getting a little more nerdy with it
I honestly would go with the zebra loaches nice pop to the bottom half of the tank.

For some reason although they are good I'm sure I can't click with or watch zenzo, I renewed or Lizzy. I've tried to work out wat it is with channels u either like or don't. I've narrowed it down to a feeling of being "talked at" or "talLKed to/ with".
So you prefer creator's that you can find relatable and the more genuine that is going to make original content of their experiences and not just throwing out the reruns and the joke's that they are very highly skilled at fake laughing at but of course they all have the eye contact so you know that they really don't care? 😂
