    We don't use Swag here like you do but I must say having watch so much Australian off-road video content, those things look great. Some day I'd love to try one.

    I got the 1400 yesterday. It is heavier bit it is worth it. For me it was a extra $100 for half a meter square more material. Was tempted to get the 1100 but I figured I can manage the extra weight and the extra room in the swag will be utilised and won't go to waste.

    Nice review. What is the stretcher / cot you are using?

    • @NasTimeAdventures
      @NasTimeAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is one of the original stretchers from Kings (4WD Supercentre). Budget price but has been a great unit. They stopped it for some reason.

    The reason the pockets are at the foot end is that is we’re a seam is unlike the head end. I’d did a review on the zero23 1100 swag.

    Could I ask what type of cot or stretcher are you using? I have the zero 23 900 swag. I bought a coleman cot. It fits OK. Just hangs over alittle to much. Thanks for your time. Great video

    Off topic kind of but did you notice that 23zero have the innerspring mattress for their roof top tent?

    • @NasTimeAdventures
      @NasTimeAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I did consider it when I purchased my saber but decided against it due to the space that is lost inside. It was 3cm thicker and I prefer that space for my bedding.

    Nice vid mate, just been looking at these swags lately and how would you rate this one. I got the 23zero 900 normal swag that they no longer make and been looking to upgrading so I got more room inside for me and for my dog so its not such a tight room inside.

    Cus the bed base. Needs to use a teeth locking straps. So can adust . Dead strighr from side to side. Or lose and lay in side. The fram.
    Water proof . Bath correct. But no explain.....
    For me mix of softener and soap. Softener will expand the fabrics
    And swell more ....
    And will seal better.
    Fabrics will swell and seal.
    The product will last longer
    With the softener. Gives flexibility.
    For a couple of cents )

    I have thought about something like this, but honestly a basic touring style tent is quicker and easier to set up, has more room and takes up a similar amount of cargo space.

    • @JamesJeanneret
      @JamesJeanneret ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Can you put your touring tent on a stretcher? The stretcher makes a big difference especially as you get a bit older, a bit ummm…heavier and not so nimble as when you’re a young fella, had a few beers at night and then need to pee 1-2 times a night. 😅

      I cant stand a fricken flapping noisy nylon tent!!! Horrible things! No wonder most people dont sleep well in that garbage. And the only thing worse than a nylon tent is a blow up mattress & pillow.

    Hey Nas, good vid and thanks for sharing. I have the Bandit 1100 and have done a few 2-3 week touring trips, moving camp daily. I’m about to get the Dual 900, for a quicker set up with just two hoops and one pole. I know it’s only an extra minute to set up but I felt it a bit of a pain. Yeah I know; first world problems right? 😅. I am also 180cm so the dual is a little easier to get in and out of, tho it wasn’t really an issue for me to swing in and out of the Bandit. Is there a reason you chose the Bandit over the Dual model?

    • @NasTimeAdventures
      @NasTimeAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      I feel I had a swag similar to the dual already. I chose the bandit mainly for the height. I agree the extra time to set up may become a pain but I reckon the height of this one outweighs the cons. Hope that helps.

      Too much set up? You must be using one of those pop up tents that blow away in the slightest breeze.

  • @SandraOrtmann1976
    @SandraOrtmann1976 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    These things are still really difficult to get around here. Very limited choice. More by accident, I think I found something here at an unbeatable price. Will go on a stretcher, as I hate sleeping on the ground. No foam mattress for me, as I do motorcycle camping. But those tiny dome tents you usually can get are not for me any longer. Sadly, there is no way to transport our large house tent on a bike.

    • @NasTimeAdventures

      This is WAY better setup in high wind. Low to the ground and this thing is more solid than any tent I have ever used.
