bear in mind though, UK cashbuilders are £1,000 per correct answer in 1 minute, USA cashbuilders are $5,000 per correct answer in 45 seconds. This makes it very hard to compare winnings as there are huge differences in cash taken to the table.
Her question reading pace is just fine! He got 6 questions wrong (1 of which the Christ the redeemer he actually knew but to late) and the winning team got 3 push backs he lost by only 2 questions had he made less errors he would have stopped them from winning.
Watch the episode where he had to do a final chase against a single opponent, I believe his name was Raj. He acted as a bit of a villain in the first chase, but after the final chase was over, he was very much a good sport.
I'd say those questions were quite a bit harder than those on the UK version. I don't think there's ever been a question on Aristotle in the final chase!
It's probably just me that haven't watched the full episode, but I think the sounds aren't so heart-stopping. Final Chase sounds can be much more tense than this. Buuuut on the other hand, execution is excellent. Audience seems involved, gameplay is still really tense. Great job!
My only complaint so far with the show is Brooke, but she may yet turn out to be really good at hosting. Even Bradley Walsh was a bit green in the first season on ITV.
Hi Baz, I'm waiting to see if anyone else is uploading it in better quality than this. I don't have the equipment I used to use anymore and just threw this up using my phone. Until I get some new capturing equipment, videos are on the back burner for me. If no one takes care of it in the next few days though I'll try to get the whole show up for you. (Also need to check with GSN to make sure they won't get upset about it. Disney's been good to me so far but I've never dealt with GSN.)
I just saw this episode and was surprised that the team won. Now I realize that the show just started, but with only 8 episodes for season one, which episode was this, because I saw the last part of one other episode.
I wonder if they continue for another season or two, would they ask Ken Jennings to be a possible Chaser to go with Mark. And now i'm thinking if the show Pointless would make the same jump...
I've seen this and the UK version and I was a bit disappointed with this one. 3 players rather than 4 and the host reads the questions very slowly. All Brooke Burke does is to serve as eye candy.
Regardless, this is easily the highest payout in GSN history thus far. All we need now is for someone to beat the Supercoin in Minute To Win It. They'll be the next game show legend if they make it happen, I assure you.
This is weird as I'm so used to the UK version! The chaser never looks so annoyed when they lose in the final chase, he seems to be portrayed more as a villain in the US, called on the Beast and probably told to look angry. In the UK they are very gracious in defeat.
s nick if you are right on that point then you are right in a sense that Brooke asks the questions faster to the contestants closer to time expiring. she doesnt say it faster to the Beast, unlike her counterpart in the UK, who DOES ask the questions to the Chasers faster
"try to copy"? You should understand how international television licensing works. Most of the time other countries do not go out and look for shows to license (or "copy" as you put it), they are presented and offered by the creators. "Who Wants to be a Millionaire" is a prime example: we didn't want it. It took multiple tries to get a network to become interested in it, and it only worked out because the producer at the time decided to put his career on the line with trying it and the network picked it up as a last ditch-effort to stay in business.
In the English version's defense, the only time they have a real audience is when it's a celebrity show and they are extremely enthusiastic in that case. All of the other shows have dubbed in audience cheers and applause.

Thank you, Mecha. That's the first chance I've had to see any of this.
Her question reading pace is just fine! He got 6 questions wrong (1 of which the Christ the redeemer he actually knew but to late) and the winning team got 3 push backs he lost by only 2 questions had he made less errors he would have stopped them from winning.
If I had to pick my favorite all-purpose game show phrase, "stop the clock" would probably be it. I'm not sure why, I just like the sound of it.
$180,000 = £116,309.09
The most I've seen won on the UK non-celeb version is £60,000. In the celeb version £100,000 was won.
Watch the episode where he had to do a final chase against a single opponent, I believe his name was Raj. He acted as a bit of a villain in the first chase, but after the final chase was over, he was very much a good sport.
Loved raj
I'd say those questions were quite a bit harder than those on the UK version. I don't think there's ever been a question on Aristotle in the final chase!
If you look for series 1 of UK chase, Bradley Walsh reads just as slowly if not more slowly than Brooke. He practiced between series 1 and 2.
It's probably just me that haven't watched the full episode, but I think the sounds aren't so heart-stopping. Final Chase sounds can be much more tense than this.

Mann, I fucking LOVE Mark Labbett hey. Such a character.
Brooke Burns is much hotter.
My only complaint so far with the show is Brooke, but she may yet turn out to be really good at hosting. Even Bradley Walsh was a bit green in the first season on ITV.
Marks rage tho
I Miss This Game Show

In the UK version yes, it's been confirmed by many contestants. The only time there's a real audience is when it's a celebrity show.
Definitely prefer the British version, less over acting in my opinion.
True
So we should divide winnings by 5 to compare them?
Can we get an intervention for the likable food deprived hostess before she's in the obits?
$180,000? That's more than £115,000, we'd never get that here.
I wonder if they continue for another season or two, would they ask Ken Jennings to be a possible Chaser to go with Mark. And now i'm thinking if the show Pointless would make the same jump...
Really wish ITV2/3 or 4 would show this one.
I've seen this and the UK version and I was a bit disappointed with this one. 3 players rather than 4 and the host reads the questions very slowly. All Brooke Burke does is to serve as eye candy.
Thought Brooke Burns did an excellent job as host-- wonder why isn't she hosting ABC's night time version?
I'm just used to the faster pace of the game and it feels slow to me. I agree if she reads at the same pace for both sides it's fine.
Regardless, this is easily the highest payout in GSN history thus far. All we need now is for someone to beat the Supercoin in Minute To Win It. They'll be the next game show legend if they make it happen, I assure you.
The beast in this level got owned
Who cares how fast she reads the question? As long as she reads them at the same pace for both the contestants and the beast...
This is weird as I'm so used to the UK version! The chaser never looks so annoyed when they lose in the final chase, he seems to be portrayed more as a villain in the US, called on the Beast and probably told to look angry. In the UK they are very gracious in defeat.
My impression was he’s just annoyed by American behaviour - 😆🤣
Hawaii was the last state to join the union, not Alaska
right...the question was the penultimate state, second to last...alaska
Think Mr, Labbett would be excellent as a super villain in a James Bond movie.
$180,000
Matter of opinion.
Thanks my tv gliched
That lady isn't doing anything. She's just standing there like a statue
It's annoying how slow the host is reading the questions, the chaser had no chance even if he'd got them all right.
a stupid genius you fail to realize that she asks the questions at the same speed to the contestants in the step builder round, so that point is moot.
lojosol erm no she doesn't
s nick if you are right on that point then you are right in a sense that Brooke asks the questions faster to the contestants closer to time expiring. she doesnt say it faster to the Beast, unlike her counterpart in the UK, who DOES ask the questions to the Chasers faster
There taking the piss out of a true classic
Does she have to say correct after each right answer...
LOL he's been told off for hitting the set like that over here.
America have destroyed this show badly
Tevan D'Souza nn
4:29 THE NOTIFICATION 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yeah we know. British game shows give alarm clocks for prizes.
That's us Americans for you. We're more likely to wear our hearts on our sleeve.
Yeah, too bad we only get an audience for celebrity versions.
The Word LASER is an acronym in which the 'R' Stands for what?
The American audience seems a lot more enthusiastic than the English one
Episode 2
Nope the cashbuilder is 60 seconds here too.
If the US Chase keeps handing out cash prizes like this, it won't last past the first season.
Just got renewed for a fourth season.
Show will keep getting better and offer larger dollar amounts coming next season.
Is that so? I didn't realise that
Jenny Ryan would like to host The Chase USA. In the future, she can do that.
This needs Bradley Walsh (& probably the other 3 chasers)
4:36 Beast Grunts
Why is it everything is over the top in the US? It so annoying.
Gg Mark
4:30 heard a ring after the vibrate LOL
It's just not as good as the original British version. Same as most shows the Americans try to copy really.

Mecha03b Surely a TV format is not "presented" to a foreign network without that network showing prior interest.
Austin Powers gh
it's actually much better but I miss the chasers
Matter of (extremely convoluted and closed-minded) opinion.
why do the yanks over hype everything.....she reads the questions slow as anything too
She sounds like one of those computer voices, like Microsoft Sam...
Brad Rutter would have got all those questions right
The Beast needs to chill out @ 4:36.
she's no Bradley Walsh is she.
aww
The chase my arse
WHOO!!!!!! IN YOUR FACE BEAST!!!! YEAH!!!!
The dude in the middle needs to lose 100 lbs
Look at the beast everyone 4:32
far from close minded. Based on real life experiences.
1:43
I... HATE. The American Chase.... you can tell the difference between American people and English people based off the chase!!!
Abbey love you girlfriend
Andrew Abbey love you girlfriend
they're incredibly annoying, aren't they
what an awful host
