This Easter egg character is from Anaidon who works on SMG4, and due to the editor’s ability to add elements into videos that aren’t in the script (as long as they don’t jeopardise the script) he was able to slip this mystery in some episodes. It’s an ARG story that’s not fully solved, in fact it’s only just really started and is not entirely canon to the series but if Luke and Kevin allow it too then he could become canon to the series.

@Foxosomos well, smg4 probaly wanted a new place, to refresh the channel, probaly thinking his content was stale, so he did the most ilojical thing, removed there most iconc background, which had been there since day 1, removing iconic characters toad and peach, so they could have a new more childish looking place.

Ok I just did some research, and Meggy's voice actor change was because Lizzie Freeman got more voice acting jobs, so SMG4 decided it would be a good decision to replace her with someone already in GLITCH. I honestly cant tell the difference between the voice actors, and it feels like Elsie is getting more into Meggy's character.

You guys probably heaven't been watching SMG4 for as long as i did or didn't get attached to the og voices like i did
@Foxosomos I did kinda forget about SMG4 after the Relevations arc, but I can see it now, I've went back and listened to more episodes and I can see the difference, But the voices are pretty similar that It doesnt bother me. The personality change is also a bit different and more noticable. For example Meggy has more anger issues, and Tari is more high pitched.
Hey dude I love your lore-explained videos. I do respect your opinion, but you need to understand that SMG4 is getting bigger with their brand since he's got 8 million subscribers so they have to be very careful when using Nintendo IP. That's why SMG4 and 3, Boopkins and Bob have to be redesigned if they want to keep the channel alive. I still think SMG4 makes great videos but they are definitely not as super entertaining as classic SMG4 videos. I thought the Puzzlevision saga is a great arc since the TH-cam arc but I will admit I wish they could do more with it after the meme factory chapter. So you really can't blame Luke and Kevin because they are also running an animation business so they also got their hands full on being executive producers on indie animated shows and making silly SMG4 videos.

also in 2016 smg4 has a soft rebot with most of the og cast being slowly removed, with the newer characters comming in replacing them
