I am beginning to Love the professionalism in your reporting respected ma'am. Your ability to punch with force where no one can & Bell the cat is remarkable. When we learnt corporate responsibility in college, it was lustrous, but it's nothing but a toothless tiger. Even as staff in corporate jobs, it's difficult to represent any grievances to the management. 😢

I watch your videos to know and understand such very important corporate issues that affect the minority shareholders a lot to say the least. In the absence of so-called independent media both print and audio-visual taking any serious steps to consistently highlight these issues, your videos appear as an oasis in the desert.
I liked your quote-unquote gesture while referring to the catch phrase, "Mutual fund sahi hai." Thank you for doing so for it isn't when they fail in their duties to protect their investors from such wealth depletion exercises by those who are managing the corporate entities.
Being a regulated entity qua my status of a regulator registered intermediary, I choose not to comment on the regulator.
In fine, I admire your zeal to raise and discuss the issues threadbare. If your efforts raise the consciousness of small minority shareholders over the long run, it would be great indeed.
Really, you are doing a great job! All kudos to you.

As rightly said, expecting FIIs and DIIs to act is a tall ask. In the capitalist model, all that matters is RoI. But all is not lost, finally the Tatas chose a professional MD in Chandra. In the case of GoAir, the family fracas was a main part in GoAir turning turtle and this must be a lesson to the Wadias and investors alike that feuding family members eventually sink the ship. I believe, the ball is SEBI's court. They need to act tough - any money diverted towards legal expenses from company's books should be treated as a serious case of diversion of funds and dealt with accordingly. And the recommendation that feuding family members should not be actively involved in company affairs should be made as a law. Only this can stem such circuses being played out at the investors expense

Is there a possibility of diversion of legal fees in case of, say, a fake feud ? 300-400 crores 'legal fees' but the case of collusion in overinvoicing can never be established, for example.

3.55; A big hue and cry is made against the recruitment to the lowly posts of peon , clerk and low level executive but nobody seems to mind when a huge business houses openly induct -without any proven track record- their cronies in the form of sons, daughters and relatives directly into the Board only on the basis of controlling rights thereby jeopardising the interests of lakhs of other shareholders, bank depositors and creditors …..Any wonder why the indian private sector is an under performer perennially….

Amicable settlements between these warmongering 'business' families are never amicable. They nurse a grudge forever, often through generations, oblivious to the fact that competing businesses, sometimes backed by nation states and intelligence agencies are always ALWAYS watching. This needless immaturity needs an ojha with a jhadu or a spiked stick to beat the ego out of these feuding siblings till they relent. Or else .. or else , antlers tangling means death of both stags, and the foxes feast at length.

This is a tirade against family businesses. What happens in family businesses in-between relatives ,does happen far more dirty fiercely, & secretly between unrelated stakeholders in so called professionally managed companies.

None of these matter because the average Indian investor/consumer is without scruples. She/He would gladly side with a wealthy businessman as long as they made money off that business's stocks, even if the business owners did everything unethical. We are a strange lot.
