I kinda liked that sam's vocals took more of a backseat, kinda changed the way I heard them.
From 5:10 and onward is my favorite part. The whole The Only Thing I Know For Real verse that ends with its the only thing I've ever known transitioning into Forsaken I am awakened was absolutely God tier. Gives me fucking chills everytime I hear it, followed by the We Won't trailing on as the Bury the Light verse progresses. Majestic

Honestly I think the name "Wind's Fury" is a good mashup name for these three.
Wind is a common theme among all of them:
Sonic's main element associate is Wind, he is a Knight of the Wind. etc
Sam is known as one of the *Wind*'s of Destruction and makes lots of metaphors in association to it.
Vergil's chorus from his theme describe him as a *Storm*. I think it fits quite nicely.

Dmc and Sonic is on a whole nother level, MGR not so much, most games have very good OST but the Sonic series slaps, truly worth the title of “99% budget on music” while dmc took it’s time on development and have a lot more time overall having extreme graphics, motion, gameplay and of course music, Sonic use all their budget but DMC have more, the story for Sonic is good in general but the way they introduce it isn’t that good
I know of some games and series that have amazing music but Sonic have so many games with like 3 bangers in each so nothing can beat Sonic OST even the instruments only are good same with small stage themes (I totally didn’t say that because I got stuck in one stage thinking that I need to get full score to go to another stage only to realize that I could’ve moved to another stage a long time ago in Sonic Force when I was younger)

fun fact, out of these 3, It Has To Be This Way is the only final boss one. Bury The Light is a battle theme for a DLC, and Undefeatable is the theme of the FIRST BOSS. Not the final, not the second, the first.

The reason why you can hear "bury the light" the most is because Vergil is asserting his dominance over the others. However, "Find your flame" is more audible than "there will be bloodshed" because, if sonic frontiers has proven anything, Sonic even in base form is stronger than Jetstream Sam. Super sonic vs sin devil trigger Vergil is a debatable battle. How audible the vocal are=how strong the character is.
Super sonic may be strong but vergil is just in his own league, its not even close
DMC characters go crazy.
All vergil needs to do it outlast sonic's collection of rings, the only thing super sonic has other than increased stats in which sin devil trigger vergil(with the Yamato in use I assume) has is invincibility, im not sure how vergil works since i haven't played the game
