    Such an inspired player. His synth licks in Roy's Ubiquity and Maze are killers each time.

    I Respect Dr Philip Woo. His organ work with Frankie Beverly and Maze is outstanding. His solo here was great. You can tell he was begging for the drummer to build with him to reach a climax. But for some reason the drummer did not respond. However. Great groove.

    Esto no había visto: La anticipada a su era 'Searchin' de Roy Ayers (algunos dicen pionera del Ácid Jazz a inicios de los 70'). Y con el gran Roy , que está en su vibráfono, Dios Mío lo anuncia a Phil Woo, y cuenta que en 1970 lo conoció a un joven pianista nacido en Seattle. Y que Roy le preguntó "conoces mi música?" Y Phil le dijo que si... Subió a tocar con Ayers... Y dice el maestro pionero del Ácid Jazz, que de tocar con él un tiempo pasó a Ashford & Simpson, y después con Frankie Beverly & Maze... Eso no sabia de Phil... Su currículo: ROY AYERS, NICOLAS ASHFORD & VALERIE SIMPSON, FRANKIE BEVERLY & MAZE... PHILIP WOO TOCÓ SOLO CON LOS MEJORES DE LA MUSICA NEGRA NORTEAMERICANA... Phil certainly woos anyone with that keyboard playing...

    My name is Isaac shorter period and I had the privilege of personally meeting you back in the mid-eighties at the peppermint Lounge east orange new jersey. I'm not I'm sure or not but I believe That the people that own the peppermint lounge were some Of your family memories are at least very close to you. But in any case I was privileged in Maybe one of my favorite musicians Of course, I mean you in person. That's it all I had Been one of your greatest fans since I was a Teenager I even remember The time when you?
    Were playing with Herbie man Yes I was a very young Music.
    Colleges I particularly Took a liking to jazz over most Styles of music Period jazz was Number one. In my catalog Then everything else followed. Soul music rock funk in. Even some hip hop. ? But out of many artists that I had hard drinks for you were amongstter top ten. And even some particulars.
    Such as philip. My late cousin wayne Shorter Of weather report. And many other artists such as. Freddie harbert. Patty Labelle. Is rick james. Tower power. Buzz gags. Luther vandrose. Cool and the gang. And Many many Others. And I was the abbot follower Of your Band. Throughout the years. Places such as trenton state College. Washington DC. New york city. And several other places. The night I had mentioned previously in particular at the peppermint lounge. I was privileged at to show to be able to have taken a photograph with you.
