There are other musicians that are very fast and technical, but Asterism play with so much heart.
    Love those guys.

I have been watching almost all of your Asterism reactions (finally). One of the main things I love about Haruka is that she's able to translate muli-layered album songs into one-guitar monsters live. Plus she is just so much fun to watch! Thanks!

Yes, if I could play half as good as Haruka, I would be more than happy.

Music aside, what I really appreciate about Hal-ca is that she adopted the rockstar imagery and moves (it obviously comes naturally to her) BUT beside that she's a really nice kid, humble and very kind. But back to guitar: you're right, she's not human - aaaaah the wonderfull plasticity of young joints. But it's not only athletic prowess: there's a refined musical knowledge in her play.

It seems that a lot of Japanese bands and band members are very humble
Like you say they have the rock imagery and the one's that I have met have all been lovely people
As I think you saw me try but my fingers weren't having any of it LOL!!!

When this COVID thing is over, we should plan to go together to Fukuoka and see them. Such a great band! I'll print a banner, "BAND-MAID fans for ASTERISM," and wave it at their concert 😂🤘

She's not human.....amen to that! She started playing when she was 10 and just now graduated from high school. Where will this woman be in another 5 years.... Love this trio and her band mates are just as talented although she has that rock star persona. I swear watching her you get that same vibe that Hendrix, Lee, Kath, and the others gave off except she has some unreal technique at this point. I would love to see her and her band-mates doing some of the old Cream tunes, Crossroads, White Room, Born Under a Bad Sign, etc.. I have no doubt they would kill it but with a more updated touch. Great reaction and yes they have no vocalist but how great a vocalist would need to be to keep up with these kids!!!!

@@OldMrB I know just how depressed you feel. 50 years of learning the guitar and I am not even 1% as good as she is.....nor am I 1% as good as Knami, Saki, Yuri and those other great female guitarists out of Japan. To anyone who doubts these women pick up a guitar and try to do one riff that these women do for a warmup and you'll know just how gifted they are, however it is not all talent there is relentless hard work and drive at play here as well. You need some "learning to play the guitar" videos on YT to make you feel better(LOL)!!!Stay well!!!

Hal-Ca is really good guitarist. The way she plays in a year or so she will go heads on with Saki, Miyako and Midori if not even better. Can't wait to see their future.
Glad you reacted to few of their songs.

Technical brilliance and tasteful at the same time. Great band. On a different vibe, Tim Smith of Cardiacs has just died. I dunno if you'd be interested in doing a reaction to one of their tracks ?

Nice to meet you.I am a Japanese who is always enjoying your videos.
You also started to see ASTERISM.
Also check out Li-sa-X. The girl who declared professional at the age of 12 formed a band at the age of 16.
There's an amateur but ridiculous bassist: Fami, so please check it out!
Li-sa-X: Little Wings, Just Be My Treasure
    Fami.(Cover) : Alien alien
sakura yoshida(Cover): Ashes of the Dawn/DragonForce(15years old), AKATSUKI/BABYMETAL

Yes! Li-sa-X is amazing too, and her band ( ... Li-sa-X band of course) is full of promises (there's Billy Sheehan playing bass on her first single "Just be my treasure", it says a lot!).

Former Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman says there are inexhaustible rock and metal music seeds in Japan, and he will spend his life experimenting with music. He has lived in Japan for many years.
The group he supported did not make his world debut, but his band's second guitar list was BABYMETAL's pink guitar, and he loves BABYMETAL.
      ⇒ Try TH-cam search on マーティーフリードマン(=Marty Friedman).
The success of BABYMETAL in the world has become the technical goal of Japanese musicians. BABYMETAL's guitarist Mikio Fujioka, who died in 2018, was also a principal teacher of the music school, and generously taught techniques.
From my personal opinion, it seems that the British and American music that hits demands creepy images and clothes. It's no coincidence that BABYMETAL, BAND-MAID, and LOVEBITES have uniforms and stories. (By the way, today is the release date of LOVEBITES live DVD "Five of a Kind". I purchased it.)(Tomorrow (7/23, 16:00 JST), there will be BAND-MAID pay-net live.)
In particular, BABYMETAL changes the corna sign into a fox sign, and the fox is the god of Inari Shrine, which is INRI. So they are divine.

You know that they have one song with a vocalist? I sincerely recommend it. It's a cover of Rage Against the Machine's Guerilla Radio: th-cam.com/video/hCqh6S2SGuI/w-d-xo.html In my humble opinion, it's much better than the original.

No I didn't I will check it out It may get blocked with it being a cover but I will see and thank you for the link

@@OldMrB Ah, I see why it has only 50 views... The mystery is revealed...
I actually did a reaction to it once, and it was not blocked.
I have a TH-cam Premium, it costs me less than 3 EUR a month. I don't know why it's so cheap. I contemplated whether I should make my reaction channel (Vladimir Reacts) also a Premium account, but the price is already 12 EUR a month, and I thought it's too much for a feature which I will not be using anyway.
This track is also available on Spotify: open.spotify.com/album/0TQTO179KAsm59uVO48qF0 It does not have an MV, it's audio-only anyway, even on their official TH-cam channel. So, you may as well listen to it on Spotify, you will not lose anything.
