Pete Complete turns 8 years old this week and I wanted to give you something to celebrate! By popular demand, here's another Baldur's Gate 3 video - and there might be more to come still :) Click here to watch the first video: ► th-cam.com/video/ZlMvRXiHEW4/w-d-xo.html
The game doesn't exactly lend itself very well to his typical completionist playthroughs, lots of mutually exclusive branching paths, sometimes you'll get locked out of things from a bad roll, it could be done, but he's also got other projects and it would be a lot to commit to. Also, he is indeed a human being who needs motivation to do things, who also has to balance things like nutrition, work/life balance and mental health, not a content creation bot that spits out video's by prompt. We all wanna see it, but that comment comes off pretty rude, can't even lie. I understand, it's the internet, nuance and delivery gets lost, and we'd all be pretty hyped for it, but damn, this comment just ain't it, chief.
Please Pete, for the love of all that's holy, I've been watching since the cannibal ice sheet RimWorld series and I ADORE this channel. I love Baldur's Gate 3 and this series could be your best. Please do it. I literally gasped aloud when I saw this part two.
While I won't lie and say I, along with many others, want a full series on BG3, I think we need to understand what a monumental undertaking that would be. The game is GARGANTUAN, and I do not think I am using hyperbole when I say that it would take years to complete. While that would be awesome, to watch Pete beat the game, I don't know how viable it is both with the youtube algorithm not liking long playthroughs, and for what Pete wants to play on the channel.
The only thing that matters is if Pete enjoys doing it, if its just because there's an audience it would mean a tremendous amount of stress and that's not worth it.
I have never clicked on a video so fast in my life. The first video you upload on BG3 finally convinced me to actually pick it up and try it and boy was it worth it. Funny considering your first RimWorld playthrough convinced me to do the same. Happy 8th anniversary Pete, can't wait to see what you have planned next!
I actually did the opposite, I had just picked up Rimworld and looked for a non modded series, I feel in love with this channel right around the time the ice sheet series ended
I just finished a horrible 24h shift at the hospital and seeing that you continued this playthrough saved my entire day. Thank you so much, I just love watching you play my favorite games!
Hey Pete, thanks for this episode. I think you should keep releasing episodes as long as you enjoy making them... don't commit to completing the game right away. For what its worth, it will be good for you channel in the very long term, as it will be very rewatchable, and people that stumble on in it in 5-10 years will watch the whole series. Accumulated watch time will be huge, at least in theory... perhaps you can judge that by the number of views you still get on other completed series.
Man, I'm seriously hooked on this series! Your Baldur's Gate 3 gameplay is top-notch, especially in honor mode - it's like watching a master at work! The way you handle the challenges and build up our squad is so satisfying to watch. Can't wait to see what kind of craziness our crew gets into next! Keep up the awesome work, Pete Complete! Looking forward to more epic adventures with our fantastic friends!
Hey Pete, I just have to say this really makes my day. I would love a full playthrough so much, since I can't play it myself with my potato pc and since I absolutely love the world of Dungeons and Dragons. Thanks for the upload!
Thanks for the birthday gift Pete. I'm sure you know what you are doing (being a true completetionist) and I don't want to be a backseat gamer but I'm sure you know that a respec for Shadowheart into any other cleric domain is considerably better, especially Light or Life. Trickery is literally the worst :) Thanks again for the gift. A full series of this would be splendid.
I never noticed that statue head. I'm sure you know a lot more BG3 secrets than I do even though I've played through the game twice. Full playtrough please.
Peter, I believe I speak for all of us fans, please, PLEASE, give us a full playthrough of this. We don't care if it's an episode every month and it takes another 8 years to do. Happy anniversary!
I am fully aware of how massive this game is, but surely three or more separate series broken up with other games is not out of the question. This would even allow you to change classes between series to keep things from becoming repetitive.
I would love to see this as more of a Pete narrated playthrough than a full 100% completionist run. Edit out what you need to, but keep your meticulous approach to encounters.
@PeteComplete I have watched every single rumored and mass effect video you have. Can’t get enough of your content. This as a series would make my life complete.
Somebody else already suggested that you could do the first act (for now), and I think that would be really great - there is a whole load of content, many secets and several cool boss fights and a nice ending. And you would see how people like that sort of content without commiting to a five-year-project. You would also know at that point if the interest in the game holds up. Also, for BG I'm personally fine with somewhat longer videos as I run them in the background anyway (only actively watching when some secret comes up, otherwise I just listen to your narrative). I would also be fine if you cut a little more than in other videos, as BG does involve an aweful lot of opening barrels and running from A to B. In any case: Thanks a lot, you made my sunday definitly brighter!
I certainly understand the challenge of making a full walkthrough for this game, but if you choose to go for it i know it will be one of the most epic walkthroughs in youtube history.
Your first video on Baldur's Gate 3 triggered something in my ape brain to make me get and play through the game. It was very much enjoyable, your influence is beyond words!
Such a wonderful thing to see another episode. Giving BG3 the Pete Complete treatment is just incredible to see. I get this would be a massive commitment, but I join in with the hundreds of other comments saying if you’ve got a hankering to continue we will be all on board!
Your first video convinced me to buy baldur's gate III and in the II video I found out you can actually rescue lae'zel. I missed her. I hope you continue this series and I wish you a good day!
The whole series is your largest undertaking, and it will take years - so long that one might question the relevance of the content due to the age of the game, but they would be dead wrong for questioning that! Because, not only will your old viewer enjoy the continuity of content, but your new viewers will love the binge-worthy library of videos. On top of that, your content is amazing and easy to enjoy, so even if this took ten years to do the whole game, it will remain relevant and entertaining throughout. Truly. -- question: will you respec any of your characters to min/max performance? Will you use any custom characters besides your main one?
Hey Pete. Just wanted to let you know I bought the game because of your first video. Your ability to create peak content that makes me wanna play games Ive never played before is uncanny
"It's not a true completionist play through until you murder then resurrect every single companion to establish dominance." - Xp to lvl 3 fans probably.
Thank you so much for the new Baldur's Gate video! I really hope you decide to make it a series. I enjoy your playstile and narration a lot and it's just perfect for this game.
Glad to see another video! Your first inspired me to to try my own Honor mode run. Finally finished it recently but so stressful. As an aside, be sure to periodically send all Camp supplies to your camp, otherwise they just weigh you down and they will always be available when you need them.
After ~8 years of Mass Effect, get ready for 16 years of Baldur's Gate 3 ! I don't think a full play through is viable, but a showcase of the important moments of the game could be awesome ! I would love see you destroy Rafael for instance..
I understand that committing to a full series would be a tremendous undertaking. But I hope you consider committing to doing all of Act 1 and then reevaluate if you want to continue. You always have so much information on Gamez I would love to see all the things I missed.

Happy birthday to the channel 😀
more episodes!
I'm succumbing to the urge! Let's tag along with Sylvia's journey!
happy to see another part of the BG3 story. I would love to see the whole serie, even if it takes years
I have only signed up for a few Patreons. If this series ends up as Patreon only, then I would be very happy to pay monthly for an episode or two.
Full series, PLEASE!!!
What kind of person gives US a gift on HIS channel's 8th birthday?
Truly, Pete is cut from a different cloth.
A hobbit does. Or in this case, a halfling.
That's a hobbit custom
Stop teasing us. Give us a whole walkthrough!
While I share your sentiment, give the man some time.
@@AidenWichmanI could not have put it better!

i agree

I spent 4 years ish religiously watching every episode of the mass effect trilogy and feel now something is missing in my life lol since it’s gone
@@ChevyRob313 Saaaame, I'm quite interested in this becoming a series as well!
BG = ME Trilogy. I watched every video of the ME trilogy on this channel. Ergo...
Yes, true. But I watched the complete ME trilogy and I think many others here did. So there is an audience.
The only thing that matters is if Pete enjoys doing it, if its just because there's an audience it would mean a tremendous amount of stress and that's not worth it.
If you have time Pete, a full walkthrough would be THE BEST! but you do you. whatever you decide, we're here for you

YESSSS! I was so excited to see you upload a second episode of Baldur's Gate III! :D
Durge Bards are great, I named mine Silly Laughter, or SLaughter for Friends.
Loved this ep, thanks for the part 2! Can't wait for part 3!
"A parasite shared is a parasite halved. Or something to that effect." Couldn't have said it better myself. XD

Heck yeah! One episode a month is fine. More is better, of course.
Let's see some tactics!
I love the title, but I honestly would have went with, "With Friends Like These..." I mean... it was *right there.*
This is amazing! This could be Pete's most epic series yet!
I don't have the time to watch this currently, but I'm leaving a comment for engagement. I 100% want this to be a full series, please and thank you.
Love this pete! Would love to see a full play through; though a ginormous task, I’m sure you’d be able to do it justice! Thanks!
i dont normally comment but i need more of this please! its sooo good
I'm playing through the game myself, it's fun to watch you find all the things that I missed. ❤

I will give you a billion dollars to make this a full series pls Pete. I love your playstyle so much!!
it must be a lot of work but a pete complete series on bg3 would be my favorite youtube content honestly.
Thank you for this vid, love the pace!

I spent like 40 hours in this first area and you are already showing me how much I missed
This is quite possibly the perfect game to see you play on this channel. I'd watch every second of this series, multiple times most likely lmao.
I love the voice of the nerrator.
She also voices Nirisa in Pathfonder Kingmaker, and space mommy in Warframe.
She's a phenomenal voice actor

I'm already absolutely HOOKED in this series and would love if you made it a full series
I would watch this for however long he kept putting up videos I spent what 4 years with the mass effect series?
yes, a full walkthrough of bg3 please
Yeah, I'm definitely gonna need more of this.
The fan art never disappoints.
I think Issac’s art is getting better with time, a special thanks to him!
Please we need a full series. This is by fast the most interesting game you have played. Your approach in everything is so complete :P
I'd definetly love to see this turned into a full series!

Happy anniversary Pete! Loved your ME series and diligent work.
I love this series! It's already teaching me a lot about how this game works!
I am loving this series!!!
I love Baldur's Gate!
I have seen this map several times, yet you managed to show me things I havent seen before. I love it! Thanks. ^_^
The best channel anniversary present!! 🎉🎉 Thank you so much as always for a wonderful video! Can’t wait to see more of Sylvia! 😎
Happy Birthday to the channel and thank you for another BG3 video
Thanks for this great video Pete. I'd personally love to see this made into a full series, but it's definitely a big commitment!
