Teddy is not aggressive. He just needs structure, guidance, and good leaderhip. And because he has none of those, that's why he behaves the way he is.

He is a beautiful dog . Why does that owner allow that ? It is not hard to get a GSD to behave . I have three and they do not jump on anyone that I allow in . They are great with my old little fluffy thing , though it took a bit of time to keep the young one to not try to play with her as she is blind and cranky .

Not really. He was probably bored out of his mind. Smart dogs like GSDs need stimulation, and training is a great way to give it to them.

🤣🤣🤣 I'm dying. They use the word agressive constantly and the gsd is not really agressive at all. He is just so excited and happy boy without any boundaries and basic training ❤ People who don't have time to train their dogs should not get them. All Teddys problems are easily corrected by right amount of exercise and balanced training.

Gobsmacked by them squeaking CALM at him, all he hears is the excitement and anxiety in their voices! If anything, they've taught him that "calm" means jump up to lick my face, please :) Fine example of a completely unaggressive, intelligent, bored dog who has never had any training. He's an absolute beauty, nothing wrong with him at all, he just needs to be shown what to do.

What strikes me in all of these videos: The dog runs to the door in front of the owner, the door is opened and the dog can run out unhindered, jump on people, bark at people or whatever.
When someone rings my doorbell, I send my dog to his place because I open the door and decide who enters the house.

That’s a good procedure. It allows the guest to easily come in without a large dog crowding in and taking up half the doorway. One trainer I’ve followed said new people should be greeted and shake hands/hug depending on the relationship, so the dog understands that this is someone welcome into the home and the family circle

It's just sad to realize how many dogs are just completely demonized and missunderdtood like sweet Teddy. He is just pure cuteness and nothing but playful. They got the dog, an intelligent one that needs training and a job, but don't teach him even a basic no, yet demand he magically knows human words and then call him agressive and what not while he is just trying to make the best of a human world that no one helped him to understand. And for still adoring those same humans they think he's a bad dog 😢 he's a great dog, actually very chill, nice and easy to train.

Most people give their dogs too much attention and affection; it’s all the time. In a pack the leader mostly ignores everyone until it decides to give a bit of attention. People whose dog goes crazy when they come home typically feed into the delirium by talking in a high tone, being excited and giving a lot of attention; they reward the crazy behavior.

German Shepherds are highly intelligent and need tons of intellectual stimulation - puzzles to figure out, different walking routes, obstacle courses, etc. A breed for experienced dog owners.

  • @CrimsonDrake-sl3qf
    @CrimsonDrake-sl3qf 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

He has the calm leadership energy right. That is what helps the methods succeed. And, he did stop saying Teddy was aggressive. (He absolutely was NOT aggressive. At all. 😂)
All of the dogs in this video simply need clear communication, structure and consistent adequate physical and mental exercise from their owners.
I feel a little bad for the two little dogs. They tolerate each other but never reached a calm surrender state about being around each other and were never pack walked to get them to see each other as pack instinctually. But, the family being together again with relative peace is definitely an accomplishment.

Even when they are 'really bad', They're not that bad and just need to be told what behaviors are and aren't acceptable. That's why most trainers have them and why they are used as working dogs. They make us look really good. This 'trainer' was particularly weak. Never once did he tell the guy to correct the dog or exercise, or even get him started on the basics. None of the issues in this show were solved. But that GS would be very easy to fix.

in the first half bailey was doing a good job telling teddy what his boundaries are with him. teddy isnt aggressive just easily over simulated. dogs like him need to learn how to turn that energy on and off like a light. they also got him for protection so ofc he is going to react at everything because he hasnt learned what is normal and what isnt. with rocko and the pug it seems like there are 2 different packs happening with rocko and his humans and the pug and his humans and this could be the root cause of the issue. with willow i think the issue is as simple as "when my owner cleans she looks like a different person" because the status quo of not cleaning has changed. she also may be slightly prey driven and sees the brooms, vacuums, and supplies as prey that needs to stop moving. definitely prey and anxiety driven...for a lot of dogs like this learning how to turn it on and off with a flirt pole or the like is a good option as well in combination with slow training. sort of like giving her a better outlet for what she wants to do which is chase and bite the object. a kong toy may help keep dogs like her settled. with dogs like teddy it may be good to teach them the "look at me" command to take the stress and focus off of the other dog and cat a leave it command may also help.

its too easy to get a dog .. there should be proper protocols in place, training (of the people) education, support etc.

Ineffective not very bright people should not be allowed to have dogs. He’s never been taught any manners, so how would he know how to behave? Try saying get down ffs.

All I can tell ya is that one day I saw a set of German Shepherd gnashing teeth flying at my face and I cold-cocked that dog upside of his head, and he fell out of the air and onto his ass, and he never did it to me again... cuz I wagged my finger at him and I told him what for, and I backed him into a corner until he laid down on the floor and I got done saying what I was sayin'. He was the most obedient and cooperative thing after that. He came from another background and I was the only one that could get near him. The guy didn't trust him around his toddler daughter. And we found out quite by accident that he loved the smell of pot. We do know that he was rescued out of a car in a Police Impound yard. A group of my colleagues were passing by heard a dog barking and one guy who was a trainer could not leave in there so they climb the fence and rescued the dog. The trainer kept the dog in his car to guard his tools. He suspects the dog was used to guard the guy's drug stash and or money. From the looks of the inside of that car and the fact that the dog was chained there the dog had either been there quite some time and no one could get him out. Or maybe the car had been impounded for quite some time and because of the weekend they couldn't get animal control out to see about it. I mean surely the dog tried to be clean about it but after a while the dog just has to poop and there was poop all over the place but then to the dog was probably eating it because if his master was caught and put in jail and then they towed his car the dog had been in the car for a while. We just don't know but he was the best boy after that and maybe he was just testing. I don't know, but it was an instant reaction for me because I had never seen a dog do that before when I came home one day he launched at me because I was alone or because it had been a long day I don't know which. But he was a smart boy I taught him to sit at the curb and look left then right and then left again before crossing. I lived at the back part of the apartment complex near the train tracks and there's a road that goes around the entire place and this is what he crossed to go over up the hill to go potty. After showing him twice I never had to show him again and I saw him out the window doing it by himself without my instruction.

The issue is that the dogs were never given proper training or taught structure and boundaries. The fault didn't lie with the animals at all.
