The Crew 2 is an amazing game but is in need of improvements in certain areas. One of the things that was on my list they've already said they're adding in a future update!
My problems with the game: the same as the first crew game: not able to restart your career, and even worse, not able to sell vehicles. I like to keep my garage clean with vehicles I want, not clutter.

I 100% Agree about the wallriding, But it was the exact same in the first game unfortunately :( The worst thing in my opinion is that YOU CAN DRAFT GHOSTS!! When you're trying to set a fast lap (Rally Raid for example) The ghost you are racing against can be Drafted/Slip-Streamed for more speed "BUT MAKES IT IMPOSSIBLE TO CATCH IF THE CAR YOU'RE RACING AGAINST DRAFTED AS WELL" :( Sucks....
It bothers me so much that the crew seems to really lack engaging driving physics. IMO, Driver San Francisco nailed the arcade like handling perfectly.
Ryan Tyniec Besides the lack of ABS in everything, I agree. Even the cockpit animations they nailed it so much, with full twisting of the wheel and the character actually pulls the handbrake, and the other hand automatically adjusts if the wheel is turned handbrake is activated. It's a Ubisoft game, why didn't they get and improve upon the animations there?
Wierdly karlos I believe they used the same in car animations from Driver SF in Midnight Club LA also another great arcade game! He even moves his hand animation when he is reversing so one arm rests on the seat while the other hand steers.
I think its because some players are sensitive to lights . also, there are even no police cars, which means they are responsibilty for the health of the player cause some of the players are having seizures

The rubber banding of the AI. If I manage to build up a 20 second lead, I dont want the game taking it away from me because I'm having an exceptional race and the AI just cant keep up. It artificially inflates the difficulty and is stupid
Darth Marth I noticed the rubberbanding in an event i had to redo 8 times... i had a 10 sec lead and the ai slingstot its cars past me with fucking mach 8 while im topspeed and using nitro

Lmao, the physics are what stopped me from buying this game. I see cars falling like sinking stones, not keeping any of their initial momentum, and how snappy & jerky the handling is and I know playing is going to bug me
You can tint the windows, you have to make a livery and activate enable stickers on window :) Edit* then you have to just put squares and other shapes on the wondows
also window tint yeah it should be added, cause as you mentioned if its in the game you will make car with window tint and forget about it, but if its not there you are gona be in a panic mode :D
October 2020: I’ve recently started to get back into this game after a year and a half break. Can confirm 6.5/7 of these issues have been fixed, (the car prices are still a bit weird but have improved). Awesome game still love it.

Though it isn't as intrusive as the game follows the rules of drifting in real life - you feather the throttle, use the handbrake, and countersteer properly, unlike NFS's "tap-brake-to-drift" system.
You talk about prices but the BMW S1000RR ismaybe £11,000-13,000 and in game it's, what, like $450,000 so yeah, but they've done it for balancing reasons or everyone could buy a top spec bike after a single race
My biggest problem is that races are often too hard, u are on 1st place and then u just make a small mistake and then you are the 8th place. THAT SUCKS
Yea, the guardrails and walls need friction to them so it actually takes away speed when you grind against them. With the physics it almost seemed like they tied gravity to your movement speed, like when you go slow gravity pulls harder on your car than when you go fast. They may have done that so a jump at high speed gives you more air time than it normally would but apparently forgot to set a lower limit (max acceleration downwards) when you go slow. Developers forgetting to set a negative limit is a common thing, in TC1 you could at once point actually accelerate infinite when driving backwards in certain vehicles, the same thing is a bug/feature in "Big Rigs". Then there's backwards jumping in Half Life 2 and Super Mario 64. So yea my guess is they forgot to set a cap for falling speed and downwards acceleration which becomes really noticeable when going slow.
I do like TC2 too, but even if I has so much fun with that game, I have to say that TC2 isn't a almost perfect game. The physics and the story are just totally awfull. I really think that the most potential of the game is the online freeroam. U can make some huge roadtrips with ur friends and even create games in the game. But, even if there's some big upgrades, TC2 wouldn't be a perfect game for me.
The 3 things I hate are 1) Whenever you go off a jump and start heading back towards the ground it looks your car is being pushed by an invisible hand. In short you fall way to quickly back towards the ground. This issue kills the game for me. It it very easy to spot in the first race when your Porsche goes off the first ramp. Watch it a couple of time and you will see it eventually. FAIR WARNING once you see it you cant unsee it 2) No sense of speed- going 150 mph feels and looks like you are going 60 mph. Maybe increase motion blur or something. 3) One of the reasons i love FH3 is the physics when over or under steering on a turn. If you go off a road in the crew 2, you don’t roll or do any of that shit, u just kinda stop. It really makes the game look poorly made.
The price really is a problem, A bike like the BMW S1000RR is about 200 or 400k in-game about the same price as the F1 car just like you said and IRL that bike costs around 20k and the F1 is worth millions... Makes 0 sense
Definitely agree with the pricing problems, but I think they need to make a bunch of stuff more. I could have every vehicle in the beta in a week just from redoing 1 race over and over again
I wanna see actual blinkers. For head and tail lights. R1, & L1 could be the mechanic use for it sense it dose nothing anyways. And more old school cars, box chevy, bubble chevys and more.
my hugest complaint is the AI in this game, not losing spots when they skip checkpoints, going around corners don't slow them down, having a 20+ second lead on them and somehow near the end of the race they gain what seems to be 4000 horsepower and they catch you...passing through ped cars too
They do the exaggerated gravity because when you're in a plane and want to drop down on a spot on the map, it makes it easier to land almost exactly where you're flying over. But yeah that kinda sucks for airtime in cars.
I think it's mostly to make 200+ PMH / 320+ KPH speeds playable. It's for a good reason than tracks IRL are very flat. At very high speeds, a little bump can make you jump (or break your dumpers xD) and with a proper jump pad, at 200 MPH / 320 KPH, you can land half a mile away.... And at 300 MPH / 480 KPH, more than a mile away with a "flight" that lasts about 20s... xD It would've been unplayable. >.
Oliver Maybe the bumps are smaller and they're not messing as much with the physics. I didn't play to it, i don't know. XD But an arcade game doesn't have to be a simulation. We could argue with a lot of other things. Unrealisic breaking distance. The shittier car turn as easily as if it were a formula 1 and the racing cars as if it were a WipEout car. XD But it's not a problem, since it is an arcade game. :) We don't expect it to be physically correct.
The crew 2 is a game were it has a FH3 car selection plus motorcycles, F1 cars, boats, and planes, NFS graphics, NFS/Crew gravity and Crew wall riding physics.
My main problem is that with multiplayer freeroam, the mare that you're playing with is suddenly disappeared and invisible. And also the car prices and not al cars are there🤔💪🏻
Here's my list of things that I personally feel like this does worse than The Crew 1. - More empty map, with less detail, towns, cities, and other landmarks. - Worse lighting. - Even less interesting story. - No unique customization style of taking car apart and putting it back together. I just wish that The Crew 1 wasn't online only (Since it causes you to get kicked out, even when playing solo, AND it risks of Ubisoft 100% killing this game, cause' they won't run the servers anymore). Then I would buy that game in a HEARTBEAT!
major problem with the game is the navigation in most races. With the previous game there was an arrow or waypoint on the road to show you which direction but in this game when doing races like hyper car races i have to constantly look at the map which is distracting. If there were arrows on the road then that would be helpful. All that aside i love the game, keep up the good work Ubisoft :)
i agree with you. i think the gravity should be a bit less so that when you get these fast cars you can enjoy the jumps and flying. i want to enjoy ramps not be sucked into the ground. everything you said is about on point.
my number 1 problem with the crew 2. when you are racing npc/AI/bots when they get far away enough, they can like...teleport or speed up immensely or something? they can do something where they show up behind you in an instant. no matter what you do, you cant outrun them.
Agreeing with the cases you mentioned. What I would enjoy seeing in the crew 2 would be a perfomance part store, where you can purchase tunning parts the unlocked for other cars, like in the first game. And that maybe Skills would more often drop parts.

An 8 man version of a crew so you could effectively have a private freeroam session with all friends would be one of my biggest wishes currently.

They do the exaggerated gravity because when you're in a plane and want to drop down on a spot on the map, it makes it easier to land almost exactly where you're flying over.
But yeah that kinda sucks for airtime in cars.

I think it's mostly to make 200+ PMH / 320+ KPH speeds playable.
It's for a good reason than tracks IRL are very flat. At very high speeds, a little bump can make you jump (or break your dumpers xD) and with a proper jump pad, at 200 MPH / 320 KPH, you can land half a mile away.... And at 300 MPH / 480 KPH, more than a mile away with a "flight" that lasts about 20s... xD It would've been unplayable. >.

Maybe the bumps are smaller and they're not messing as much with the physics. I didn't play to it, i don't know. XD
But an arcade game doesn't have to be a simulation. We could argue with a lot of other things. Unrealisic breaking distance. The shittier car turn as easily as if it were a formula 1 and the racing cars as if it were a WipEout car. XD But it's not a problem, since it is an arcade game. :) We don't expect it to be physically correct.
Yeah I noticed the gravity thing too. Anytime I went off a jump it felt like I was being sucked into the ground

The crew 2 is a game were it has a FH3 car selection plus motorcycles, F1 cars, boats, and planes, NFS graphics, NFS/Crew gravity and Crew wall riding physics.
Michelle Dominguez FH3 has nothing on the crew . The crew is better

My main problem is that with multiplayer freeroam, the mare that you're playing with is suddenly disappeared and invisible. And also the car prices and not al cars are there🤔💪🏻

My MAIN problem is that there are no CRATES such as the ones in the Crew. It was my favourite activity in the game and I want it to continue.

Here's my list of things that I personally feel like this does worse than The Crew 1.
- More empty map, with less detail, towns, cities, and other landmarks.
- Worse lighting.
- Even less interesting story.
- No unique customization style of taking car apart and putting it back together.
I just wish that The Crew 1 wasn't online only (Since it causes you to get kicked out, even when playing solo, AND it risks of Ubisoft 100% killing this game, cause' they won't run the servers anymore). Then I would buy that game in a HEARTBEAT!

major problem with the game is the navigation in most races. With the previous game there was an arrow or waypoint on the road to show you which direction but in this game when doing races like hyper car races i have to constantly look at the map which is distracting. If there were arrows on the road then that would be helpful. All that aside i love the game, keep up the good work Ubisoft :)

i agree with you. i think the gravity should be a bit less so that when you get these fast cars you can enjoy the jumps and flying. i want to enjoy ramps not be sucked into the ground. everything you said is about on point.

my number 1 problem with the crew 2. when you are racing npc/AI/bots when they get far away enough, they can like...teleport or speed up immensely or something? they can do something where they show up behind you in an instant. no matter what you do, you cant outrun them.

Agreeing with the cases you mentioned. What I would enjoy seeing in the crew 2 would be a perfomance part store, where you can purchase tunning parts the unlocked for other cars, like in the first game. And that maybe Skills would more often drop parts.
