all you need now is an umbrella above you and it would be not to bad.. it's a very cool thing to see how much you do and help on the farm. I would believe your husband is very proud of you and the kids..
Sure beats the old style "finger-drop" tobacco setter that I was used too. We first started out with a one row setter....man, that sure made for some long, HOT afternoons! But then, as acres grew, we graduated up to a (three-point-hitch) 2 row setter ..."woo-hoo, we be farmin' big time with that mo'chine". The old finger style "Mechanical" setter would plant more than tobacco if you were too slow at moving your hand outta the way!!!
bulk drying? Farmer close to me plants about 3000 acres About 55 years ago I had the fortune of working for a small farmer that had about 20 acres All manual setting , suckering, picking, stringing, hanging in the barn , after curing unstringing and putting in a sheet in a big circle, stems in, The first auction.. WE had to "Baby doll it.

Do you still have an allotment?
cool i never seen anyone planting tobacco
Cool!!!
Ask the farmer if the rows should be straight or if u get MORE plants in a CROOKED row.
He said he was just following the corn rows. . .
+The Farming Life that makes sense, prolly more then too per row?
Do you guys gas your land with chlorapic or whatever the hell that other one's called?
I thought it was funny to see row marker for a tobacco setter. My grandfather planted 15,000 acres with no row markers.
Grow some mariujana and earn lots of money
