I’ve been to Sri Lanka myself here is so advice go to some of the temples and if you don’t find 2000 year old Hindi temples interesting go to some of the city’s go to a market meet the people they are so nice and on a market you can always find interesting things to film and enjoy. Like if you would like to see Jon, Benjamin, Janni and maybe some of the others go exploring. Love the vids btw.

I've been following Jon for about a year. I will admit that I am happy that he no longer publishes daily content as the quality of the posts is significantly better. But its the cinematic quality of the videos that keeps me coming back.
Things to do on Sri lanka: 1. Galla Fort ( Close to Lapoint Surf Camp ) 2. Sigiriya 3. Yala National Park 4. Polonnaruwa I understand that you come for the waves but let people see how beautiful it is in Sri Lanka! Have a good one ! Great vlog guys.... keep it up

In Mirissa, just some minutes away from you is a spot, where you can book a snorkeling tour with blue whales. Now is the perfect season for that! And a Safari in Horton Plains is really nice too!
Sri Lanka is the best! You guys have to go to The Doctors House, located 15 min away from Mirissa. Such a nice after surf hang spot! Also, try some Sri Lankan food, like curry! And go to Old Town in Galle, with the fort, would be great vlog content.

I've been to your LOT in Lombok last week. Pretty nice spot! I was surprise that there was trash on the beach. How is the trash situation in Sri Lanka?
I was in Sri Lanka in december and I can recommend you the mountains (near Ella) - At least for 2 or 3 days. And also the nationalparks are amazing - you can see wild elephants and many other animals. For a great beach party I would recommend Mirissa (not that far from your villa). Galle was also quiet amazing for a day! Have a nice trip! Cheers ✌️
seafood, street food, more surf spots on the north east part of the country. train ride to hill country, treks, fortresses, temples and more things from past to see and enjoy the amazing hospitality of SRI LANKAN people! have a good time there guys!!
@Jon Olsson we have "took tooks" in indonesia as well! They're called "Bajai's", but sadly they're most commonly only found in jakarta! They create so much traffic jams :( , and since bali has alot of narrow streets... i guess that's why they aren't found there (has something to do with culture as well i guess)

Sri Lanka has some of the fastest speeds in South East Asia. Dont worry you are covered. Colombo has the fastest no doubt. But 3G and 4G coverage is pretty good islandwide

Hey Jon Im a broke college kid but this summer im saving up to go to sri lanka and other parts of south east asia with my siblings. We want to go backpacking there so if you and benny could show the parts around there and like how much the food and shops are around there. It would be really cool to watch and it would help alot thanks!
I travelled in sri lanka last year and you must go to tangalle for surfing (aga surf lodge and silent beach). Also would highly recommend travelling up to ella and hiking, its unbelievable
