Hi! I enjoyed your video. Curious if it's still working fine after 2 years. Really interested in having the same one installed but a lot of people are saying they're prone to malfunction. What type of maintenance do you do for upkeep? Thanks in advance.
@@jamesryanbulacso661 the way Fords warranty works is within a specific area (engine, suspension etc) if you modify your shocks, you can void your warranty but not the warranty on your engine. Since this is in the truck bed, this will not affect other warranties.
I have a Carryboy manual roller lid on my Wildtrak. For about 6 years. Not impressed at all. It's not dust or water proof.Apart from the bin taking up too much space, the drain holes is too small, dust and dirt blocks it so it fills the box till it over flows. Another ireitating thing is continuous clatter of the slats on the guid rails. The rail itself is now corrugated.A simple Teflon insert wold have solved this friction between the mating aluminum. Then there is the tolerances that's way too big between the rails, sliding sometimes wedge it self. The center locking meganisim never work properly. Will I ever fit another, No Never.
I was very particular when buying my cover. The noise was something I was worried about as well. I went to the shop before actually purchasing it. I was impressed at how quiet it was. I never expect these covers to be "waterproof" no matter what the companies claim. Just not possible with the way they are designed. Aside from the huge box inside, I'm pretty satisfied with my cover.
@@CasaLobo77 I love it. It is the most versatile power cover in the Philippines at an affordable price at the moment. The T-rails gives you many options. No mechanical issues since I've owned it. You have to oil the tracks every now and then just to ensure it slides well, just like any other roller lid. It does take space inside but it's okay, I'm building a rack similar to Front Runner Slim that I can secure on top of the crossbars for extra cargo.
@@rockislandlife6383 Good to know.. the reason im going for this type of bed cover is the flush design which makes the truck look cleaner and also it is more or less identical to the ford OEM roller lid but at more affordable cost.
Although my issue with this cover is the amount of space it takes inside the bed. With trifold although you cover the rear window, you have full use of the inside of the bed.

Still working. Just have to make sure that you oil it and realign the tracks once in a while. Preventive maintenance.

thanks for the video bro. Can a roll bar be installed with this bed cover system?
They have 2 types. They'll ask if you have a roll bar or not. I haven't seen one with a roll bar
nice guide and review. thanks for this.
Hi, what app is used to control the roller lid? Does it work all the time?
I have seen feedbacks about roller lids that they break easily and get misaligned.
No issues so far with this brand.
Does it have manual override in case the motor fails?
Good question. It does. I haven't had a chance to try it, but I think I will.
thanks po sa info magpapakabit din me thanks
they drill something on your bed for the water drainage? or no drills or holes during installation?
Yes they did. They have drainage pipes. Make sure they use the grommets to keep the seal.
@@rockislandlife6383 can they install it without drilling since it will void the manufacturer warranty
