Love the transparency in this - your vlogs are some of my faves on YT :) For the rug prices maybe make the lower priced ones have a bigger larger tag so people see the cheap ones first and might help them sell better? :) As for livestreaming I'd REALLY recommend trying it out on youtube too - the algorithm seems to love a live :)
That is so sweet, thank you! :,) And that's a really good idea!! Thank you so much for suggesting both those things, I'm actually setting up the TH-cam streaming settings right now because I would like to do it on here instead! :)
Honestly, that’s pretty good for a con. I’ve been doing cons for a while. Best way is to scout out a con you’ve never done. Go on a Sunday and ask around to see how people did in artist alley. My rule of thumb is if a show is more than two days, I skip it. Saturday is typically the peak day. Weirdly, nobody online ever really tell how they actually did or they softball it. I also keep it local. I limit my shows to within a tri-state area and only do one big con out of state. The ones to seriously avoid are ones with a celebrity guest list. The crowd that goes to those are only truly there for celebrity pics and autographs. Their wallets and time are already drained by the time they hit artist alley.
Wow thank you so much for this!! This con had a huge celebrity guest list, I hadn't even considered that perspective really. And I agree that nobody online says how they did?? It was really hard for me to gauge what to expect, so I'm glad I was able to talk about my experience at least! If there's any cons you really enjoy vending at you should let me know! :-) I'm not necessarily trying to travel but I might try it out because I have a big van to stay in so I wouldn't need to book a hotel and everything

Thank you for the great vlog as usual ! I really love your art , I bought the cat print and it’s one of my favourites. I’d love to see a tote or maybe a zipper pouch ? But your rugs did awesome , especially in the current climate - people really don’t want to spend at the moment and it looks like you sold the majority of them. And if you’re in the mood for nattering I reckon we’d all like to hear about the two years in the van 😁
i love your work but i live in australia so shipping is ☠️ so although i’d love to buy things like tote bags having smaller items that can be posting using a stamp rather than a parcel are always appreciated ❤ thanks for sharing your experiences with us 🌸

Ah your comment is so validating because I actually made a commitment for 2024 to no longer do fan art!! (at least not to sell/share publicly) I think it was kinda holding me back tbh :) Thank you!
I've thought about that! But I think I want to stay away from anything that's not directly related to me making art :,) I've realized I just am not motivated by anything else haha
Also, would love to hear your story about living in the van for 2 years!
omg right, I want to hear that too!
came for the art but end up starring at your gear rack hahaha (that frog chair rug though )
8:58 😍! this is the cutest!!!
Very cool to see how it happens behind the scenes. Thanks for the video!
Glad you enjoyed it! thanks for watching :-)

You content always make me feel inspired to make new things, I'm happy to know you do it well at con, I hope you get more sales too!
ah i appreciate that, and I'm glad that I can help motivate you to create!

van life story - yes, please! 😃
Ok a lot of ppl are saying this, will do!!
EEE! so happy for you!!!!
:,) thank you so much!!
Those grids are so hard but I read that buying the connectors separately work better - mine are coming in the mail 🤞🤞
oh interesting!! I should try that, the ones they provide are not great :,) and they never give you enough!!
yay! congratulations on doing a thing!!!!
:,) thank you!!!!
These videos are super helpful!! Thank you for sharing. 😊
Yay I'm so glad!
10 minutes into this video I realized...I'm wearing those exact same Meals pants right now 😂
Aren't they the best!? I wish I could afford a couple more pairs because I would exclusively wear them if I could lmao

I would totally love to watch some twitch live streams!
So sad I can't see any of your booths in real life... lots of love from Portugal! 🧡
Yay okay!! I added my Twitch in the description :-)
Congrats!! Sad that I can't see it in real life but I'm sure the transparency will help artists. Looking forward to see more art
thank you so much!! I hope so!
I like to buy prints, of all sizes!
I also love buying prints, my walls are full of em!! I'll keep making more as I make new paintings/illustrations. Thanks Steph :)

Okay good to know, thank you!! It's so sad how expensive international shipping can be! :,,,( But I'll keep that in mind for sure!
Glad this went well!!
Excited hearing about options for the future!! I really love stickers and zines :)

where do you find these organizers?
I got them on amazon, look up "expanding accordion file organizer" and you should find them :-) But they're probably at most office/big box stores too
Really enjoyed the BTS. Also what is your twitch name so we can find you later!
oh good call!! I just added it to my list of links in the description :-) ty!
I think you should lean into your personal art. Still do fan art but your art style is fun and intresting!

@bri.forcier should do a big rug of dissected frog to celebrate🤣
