Fallopian tubes play a key role in fertilising the egg with sperm. Therefore, healthy and open fallopian tubes are two essential parameters for pregnancy to sustain. However, reasons like pelvic inflammatory diseases, STDs, ectopic pregnancy, or repeated DNC may cause blockage in fallopian tubes, thereby leading to infertility.
Hydrosalpinx and Hysterosalpingography, or HSG test, Sonosalpingography, and Chromopertubation can diagnose a blockage in fallopian tubes.
