You've lowered that Z's performance. Hitting only 55 in a full tuck at 165 lbs means your engine isn't running as it should. You'll either need to go back to stock or change the fueling map as should always be done when changing exhaust or intake.

Fairing don't flap with under 10 bucks carbon tube that accept stock mounting things (looks cleaner than stock), so hose with filter is cleaner, smarter, quicker, cheaper than your invention. California temps are most unstable on the planet to me. In LA you get 40 degrees change during the day for 4 months. 80 at noon and whatever else every hour. So yeah, do a bit research before videos. Just saying.
Eric Z not sure if you're being serious, but if you are maybe you should do some research... average temperature, mid day, in la during the winter is 67 degrees. Average temperature during the hottest portion of the summer is 79. That's a 12 degree variation throughout the year, on average and per DATA. Compare that to NJ let's say where the average temp during the summer is 85 and during the winter is below 30. The 10 buck carbon tube you referred to is actually 49 dollars plus tax and shipping. The whole kit is well over 100 dollars. So it is not easier or cheaper by any means than the option I have provided here.
I am socal born and raised. I am saying during the DAY for almost half year you get temps different every hour. Depends where in LA too. They have 3 or 4 weather forecasts on TV for a reason. Beach/valley/mountain/high desert.

How much do you weigh? Idk why your bike is so slow my z125 is bone stock havent modded the filter yet it has 500km and ive hit 103kmh which is 64 mph
Even when I first got my 2021 under 50 miles I could hit 60 bone stock

Just drill 1/4 inch holes on the right half (looking from the front) of the air box, sounds just like this and helps..........

Bone stock 2021 z125 with 1 mile on it ran 64mph. I put an exhaust on it and now does 65mph lol
Oh yes. Made a big difference. How could it not. The poor thing was starving for oxygen trying to suck it in through those tiny little air box holes.
I removed the air filter cover completely off, all I had was the OEM filter, wide open and didn't see any difference whatsoever.
