Provence is magical. I was there in May and the air was sweetly scented with Jasmine. I can’t imagine how wonderful the smells are with all the beautiful lavender fields blossoming now. Vive la France 🇫🇷
What an amazing place. I was taking deep breaths imagining that I could smell the lavender. Before you showed the honey I was thinking that the honey made by those bees must be spectacular.
🌏 Yay a new video! It is so neat to taste honey that tastes of the environment from whuch it comes. I keep checking back for a new video I am transporting myself from our winter to your summer again. ✈️ Greetings from winter in New Zealand. 😊 I don't know if there are any videos out there similar to yours you (or anyone reading) can recommend. Yours is the best I have ever found and I've watched most of them more than once. I usually see something new the second time round. I LOVE lavender. It must be such overwhelmingly amazing aroma when you walk through the fields. I dream to do that one day. Lavender and sunflowers are grown here, but not fields on the same scale as Provence. We do have very large vineyards of Sauvignon Blanc though and Marlborough grows the best. So delicious. I have been to Champagne and it was neat to make a comparison to our Method Traditionelle wines in NZ. I really enjoy watching your lovely family travel around and also enjoy your "at home" videos. How fantastic having a lavender field to yourself. As a viticulturist, I love that feeling of being alone in a huge vineyard all to myself to take amazing photos. I have lavender augustifolia in my garden at home and have organic lavender oil grown in Marlborough and Central Otago (known for its Pinot Noir) that I sometimes use on my pillow case to aid sleeping. It is hot dry in summer in the region of Central Otago, where you get the best Honey that has the taste of the wild time in it. It is so neat to taste the environment from where it comes. It was minus 3 down there in the south island in Central Otago this morning. Many days it gets much harder frosts. Where I live, it is 12 minutes to the beach and 1.5 hours to the ski field. I live in a small town called Rangiora, in the South Island, only 20 minutes from NZ's 2nd largest city. I love that you speak like us here, in a relaxed casual chilled out way. So relaxing listening to your calm voice and watching your amazing videos before I go off to sleep. It's midnight here in NZ and we have been up late watching the rugby, NZ v's England, and we won the second test match. Rugby is a huge thing in New Zealand, waay bigger than football. I shall use my lavender oil now and go off to sleep imagining being in Provence in a field all to myself. Absolutely LOVE your videos! Appreciate all your work that you put into them!

Reminds me of growing up in farm lands in northern California. 100+°F summers harvesting fruit/nuts and tending the garden. I live in a small town called Rangiora, in the South Island, only 20 minutes from NZ's 2nd largest city.
I love that you speak like us here, in a relaxed casual chilled out way.
So relaxing listening to your calm voice and watching your amazing videos before I go off to sleep.
It's midnight here in NZ and we have been up late watching the rugby, NZ v's England, and we won the second test match.
Rugby is a huge thing in New Zealand, waay bigger than football.
I shall use my lavender oil now and go off to sleep imagining being in Provence in a field all to myself.

It looked very hot. Reminds me of growing up in farm lands in northern California. 100+°F summers harvesting fruit/nuts and tending the garden. It's not as romantic as you might think 🥵, but worth the effort come fall and winter.

Here in the Central Valley of California we have a couple lavender farms near me and in Northern California sunflower fields. So gorgeous!! But not as gorgeous as Provence! And that village!! Wow!!❤

OOoooohh - all that WONDERFUL Lavender 😍 Provence was the first département I ever visited & we made a 5week trip down the West side of France and back up the East side where I fell in love with the Beaujolais region & lovely Lyon; we later went to live in the magical Haute Beaujolais. Thank you so much for this gorgeous video and for rekindling so many happy memories for me (And a few tears !!!) 🌹

The drone footage, video and photographs of the rolling lavender fields, villages, and shops were spectacular!!! I can just imagine the perfume in the air and the scent travelling on the breeze!
Sunflowers growing beside the lavender - that is so much like an impressionist landscape painting! You even captured close-ups and the sound of pollinating bees! I love Provence in the summer. It fills the senses and is beyond beautiful!
