I'm back with another CQL video! I wanted to explore two points of view. First of all, Wei Wuxian as a steadfast man and unreliable narrator who was both so pragmatically altruistic that he allowed his life to only revolve around others, and so proudly blind to politics that he made himself an easy target and failed to defend his life. Then, I filled in the blanks of the story with Lan Wangji's constant internal conflict of deciding between "right" and "wrong" while slowly crumbling under his strict clan's responsibilities, all the while trying (and failing due to his inability to break rules) to save Wei Wuxian from his death. Following Wei Wuxian's resurrection sixteen years later, the roles have reversed, and it's Lan Wangji's regret-fueled devotion and decisiveness that drive Wei Wuxian to finally find his place in the hateful, hypocritical, political world that wrongfully vilified him. Hope you enjoy! Like and subscribe for more!
It truly hits different when a person who understands the story edits something like this. You managed to make me feel all the things I felt the first time I watched this series. Thank you. This is an incredible talent.
Wow your skills are amazing! I love how you told their story from different points of view and took different parts of the story to make something new. The edit is so clean but still diverse, the choice of music is perfect and the emotional parts really hit hard with the way you tell the story. Truly an amazing video! Great work 👏🏼💕
Your channel is so, so underrated. I love your cql edits so much!! So many emotions packed in such an intriguing way. Your vids make me want to watch it again for the seventh time lol
@@grimreaper1259 Yes of course! It’s from Lime Torrents. I have a tutorial on my LiveJournal on how to download videos. Also, let me see if I can upload to Dropbox or something, I may just be able to give you my files
