    The music looping and layering over itself 900 times is top notch work.

    Crazy seeing this video. I remember going to this house circa 2002 and meeting Marco when he was just a young lad. What memories. Nicest family you could hope to be friends with.

      .....Winning only 2 races in 15 years/seasons (2006-2020) I would be ashamed to be taking that much money from a team I drive for. I don't care if his dad owns the team or not. Marco hasn't had a podium (top 3) finish since race 11 (Fontana) in 2015..... it's 2020 now.
      .....I do realize Marco is a part owner of his car now, but he wasn't always a part owner. Glad he's living a great life, but Marco needs to retire help his dad run the team, and let someone else drive his car that would have more than 1 win in a 14 year time span after his rookie season. (2007-2020)
      .....Even Graham Rahal is a more complete driver than Marco Andretti. Graham has 6 career Indycar wins to his name, and in 2020 finished on podium 3 times this season 6th in points. While Marco Andretti finished 20th in points which is last of all drivers who raced every race this year.

      As a huge Marco fan I feel he's lost the passion. I'm only an hour away from Indy 500. I go every year to practice, tie trials and the race. It seems like racing is more of a job to Marco. It's like he settles for mediocre anymore and I hate it.

    His biggest career mistake was leaving room for Sam Hornish to pass at the line at INDY. Too nice.

      carl edward Sam had the faster car due to lower downforce. If Marco dove inside, Sam would have gone outside. Either way, he was getting around Marco regardless

    I remember trying to get Michael and Mario's autograph at Laguna Seca and Long Beach in the 90's and they both did everything they could to avoid the fans so I was never able to get it from either. They have mastered the art of being Pompous Asses so I can only assume Marco is the same.
    What's in a name? Everything!

    • @markcreamer5346
      @markcreamer5346 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      And yet I'm just an ordinary fan and both Mario and Michael were more than gracious to me when I asked for an autograph. These little 2 second snippets of fan interaction are not enough to judge someone's character. Plenty of fans are pompous asses too

    I live in indy and have been a Andretti fan all my life ( especially John) but this is over the top. Marco was on the pole for this years Indy 500 and was in third place before turn one, and didn't pass a car for position the whole day. Just saying.

    The tour of Mario's house is nice.
    I don't think even if I had that kind of money I would want the hassle of the expense and maintenance on places like this.
    My parents had a huge house when they were alive in FL and 9 years ago the electricity bill was over $1000 a month in the summer with the multiple A/C units running.

    • @sweeptheleg.
      @sweeptheleg. 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      capnrob97 Not disagreeing with you, you're entitled to your opinion. Let's assume the electric bill on Marco's house is similar to your parents. The Andretti's are worth millions, with more coming in annually outside of their involvement in racing. Whatever their monthly bills are, is probably a very small percentage of that. So I say live it up if you can, while you can.

      I agree and no sour grapes. I would not want a house with unnecessary living space just because I could afford it.

    He's very talented behind the wheel, without question. However the insatiable, hard core drive is the element that seems to be differentiate him from teammates.
    Great place, more power to him. I congratulate him in that regard.
    It would seemed as if it doesn't get a great deal of use from those paying the bills. Because of items such as the 4:3 CRT displays, and the mammoth, boat anchor, 4:3 rear projection relic. Such a display would certainly be unwatchable from Marcos perspective.

      I wouldn't care if Marco wasn't a driver at all and his dad wanted to build or buy him that house. That's their prerogative, good for him.

    • @ynp1978
      @ynp1978 5 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      The real helluva deal is that Michael keeps him on the team without him doing to much of anything. I mean Hunter-Reay joins the team and wins Indy. Rossi joins the team and wins Indy. Sato joins the team and wins Indy. Must be somewhat of a downer for Marco to watch that. 14 years driving for one of the top teams and he has what...2 wins? Don't get me wrong I root for the guy every year.
