Camera man taking one for the team. Real question is how do they hook on a hot dry packed service. They clearly hook in the soft grass, you can see the traction gains and the tires digging. Amazing wheels.
Excellent vid, enough to inspire any want to be 1/5 hobbyist! The MCD looks the mutts nuts, but how did it fare? Lots of ace shots of the other too ripping it however no MCD, was there a problem?
I’m being a pessimist here but with such deep offsets, inner/outer, wouldn’t a buildup or grass or dirt negate any lighter wheel weight and slow things down? Btw... I love the fact you guys took the initiative to make these. Even with the thin looking tread, they look awesome! Hopefully, you will offer some thicker tread options for an even more knarly, realistic look!
Sure, valid point! But we feel fairly happy with this point as this test was in the nastiest sodden condition that must guys run their cars, and the weight gain wasnt a problem. So for normal dry grass bashing which is our target with these wheels we are bang on! And yeP! Lots of tread patterns coming incl aggressive thicker ones
Seems like a great idea. Test the impact strength though bc rubber tires and foam absorb that hit before it gets to the rim. Not the rim will be taking the brunt of that force yes they are billet and yes they are circles (which are very strong shapes) but I bet one of u guys bend or crack some of these before its said and done
@@TAYLORRC hopefully these can handle speed runs. If you have a product that can handle 220mph, you will see a lot of product. Best now is about 160 to 170mph before they fail.
Hi. Looks good and works. Unfortunately, however, only as it can be seen. Terrain impossible. Nevertheless, once again a great product from England. But it cannot and will not be the solution to the known problem. Why isn't a mature made with a real tire belt? The tyre belt consists of several layers, steel wires embedded in rubber, textile fibres or fibreglass and is essentially and viewable. The wires or fibers intersect. For high-speed tyres, the belt can also be folded, making it even more stable
need these sick of putting the tyres back on after ive run its the only thing letting my car down is the wheels role on pay day just hope there are some left in stock when i get paid next month..
Gotta be a stiff ride, im guessing some major suspension tuning was required, or would be on scale trophy truck terrain. I bet those would beat the shit out of your rig on any real terrain for that matter. Seems to work in grass though, your typical 1/5 scale terrain, ha
Yep! Grass bashing was our target goal as its the most common 1/5 surface. No suspension tuning was carried out. Just swapped from MCD wheels and BRPs. But these days zero growth foam tyres are hard as a rock anyway!
Good shit, finally a set of wheels that won’t fly to bits, great stuff RC MAX👍

@@TAYLORRC "yes"
i can't not wait to see it... thank you
How would these----- SUPER SPIKE 3" with 3D 24mm Hex Centres---- compare in size ( h/w) to the pro-line mx-43 badlands?
Similar height (MX43 are 15mm taller) but they are about 18mm narrower
I am guessing these wheels are not really made for larger jumps mainly for flatter terrain?
Whoa that’s so beast !
Can't beat'em....
OMG they are freakin angry awesome wow 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hi there I have an old Carson off road fighter 2 and I want to put a roll cage style body on it.. Where do find these style? Are they bespoke?

We havent set a date yet, but this first general purpose pattern could be as soon as 2 weeks
Rim👍🏿😮☠🤯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
What about fitting Xmaxx hex ?
Sure, we will simply make some billet inserts with 17mm Hex fitment for all the electric 1/6 and 1/5 scales. Thats the beauty with our modular design!
Awesome When can I buy some ?

Congratulations u just got ur selves banned from using the soccer pitch lol
These guys have actually been using this field for 4 years and have a good relationship with the groundskeeper through other favours etc. :)
Thanks for confirming U would say what I said u would lol 😂
Stupidest design I’ve ever seen they just bite and tipped the car over no sliding with them drifting
🤔
Badass can’t wait to try them
