I wish I knew how to make maps because I was disappointed to not see a Die Hard themed tower map for the movie challenge. And then resubmit it for a potential Christmas map challenge.
Noah for the top 3 players you should play a fun zombies map with them and have a 4 person party where you can talk to them all about how they came up with the ideas for their maps and stuff!
The minecraft zombies tower map should not count in the competition. The map creator literally took a game that already exists and used it in their map, the coding and everything is the same, that should be a disqualification.
How do you know the coding is the same? Have you been into the coding to see? Also i can guarantee that its not exactly the same in terms of coding because of the fact that the engines just are so far apart. The creator very well could have just ported it over, but it still more than likely took the majority of the month they had to fix the code, and textures of the map just to make it function
It also added a few new areas and the entire zombies aspect is brand new. The corridor of eyes, some of the late stage repeats, and the actual mechanics are new. Plus the entire starting area. The textures and code is also modified heavily to fit the engine. I see nothing wrong with it. If anything, the fact that an entire demo was fit into the game and used as effectively as it was should be a POSITIVE in its favor, not a negative.
