      She is lost. She is. And that is not shade. She is angry but she puts it off as intellect and it causes her to worship her ancestors like gods bc of her pain and grief. This is intellectual babble due to pain. A broken clock is right twice-a-day but it's still broke. She is lost. May she find God through knowing Jesus. Shalom.

    • @nmr3647
      @nmr3647 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      She is not open to the divine. She is open to divination. Those are two different things. She does not recognize God or Jesus Christ. The Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit are the only thing that are divine. Not familiar spirits using your dead ancestors to keep you bound.

    Letz be clear...this interview was originally done in 1991...before many today were born...before Hip Hop got compromised...before being African was only considered a fashionable wardrobe...when today's "Old School" among Dr. Ani's students, teachers, and mentors could differentiate between "Real School" and being "schooled". When folks could read and be read simultaneously without the use of a loaded gun, or a destructive tongue. I hope many will absorb this interview. Then move on towards her amazing classic work YURUGU. Perhaps when reading it, or viewing some of her other tapes online...the struggle for some to keep the circle unbroken will become even more personal.💖 Ase-o.

      I agree but I also feel like god can be expressed femininely and masculinely. sometimes I call upon the feminine attributes of god, so I can reach into the source of divine wisdom and create within my own world. when I need the masculine attributes, I ask for protection and action.

    I am right there with her. I feel the deep truth ringing in my spirit, and have known, and am pleased to hear her words speak to it.
    I think with an All is one outlook, a politicised spiritual religion that separates people into cultural groups will also reap disaster, and that it's a wonderful mechanism for dissecting and understanding the past, but in a rich global world that is mixed, we need a unifying principle beyond separated communal culture, that still honours and celebrates the differences.
    Brazil is a great picture for this mixing. Umbanda Religion, is christian, spiritist and West African ! All embracing and worth looking into.

    Grateful for this wisdom offered. Thank you for publishing this from the archives. My only qualm is this idea that gender exists as a strict binary when that's not the case... indigenous cultures all over the world, including in Africa, have traditionally made allowance for this. She's right in saying that gender and sexuality among African people should be discussed within an African context. Again, very thankful this came up in my suggestions. 🙏🏾

Yet, we hear all the other races speak English mixed with their tones. Example: Chinese, Spanish, Arabic, freaking Irish, German etc. No one says there tones is from laziness or stupidity.
