People say Klopp and Arteta got 3-4 years to show progress... Reality is they took 3-4 years because clearance and changing of the squad took that much time with good and bad buying players. The first clearance for manchester united is this year after 2 full season of Ten hag. And we still have players in the squad who was playing under van gaal. Changes take time when done well, now imagine how much it take when done wrongly. Is ten hag at fault? Yes but not completely. He need to use the same tactics of the first season again with the players at his disposal but prefer to persist with a false kind of pressing. However i can understand he is looking on the long term, after the clearance of this year the most experience striker in the squad is Rashford (27). Garnacho still 19 and inconsistent, Amad first full season, Zirkzee need to adapt and Ramus too raw right now. Only the defence look good but dalot can't play on left against good team, that's not his position. Midfield we count too much on mainoo, eriksen and casemiro is too old now, Ugarte need to adapt, Mount injury prone and Fernandes is Fernandes. Don't forget Shaw the new Phil jones. Now tell me how to do a consistent playing team with that.
His team looks like it’s always in such a rush to send the ball forward - it just makes them wasteful. It’s not the way his Ajax team played, so we’re not really judging him on the way he wants his team to play… which is just weird - they need to put him out of his misery
Honestly the real issue I can see (as a passive observer who only recently found Saeed because of his Chelsea videos) between him and Goldbridge is that Mark has a much bigger platform and brand recognition and kinda casually dismisses what Saeed considers to be the biggest problem at United which is ETH. Which is always gonna be an issue. In the same way as a Chelsea fan I’m seeing Rory on every show and podcast talking about how terrible everything is at Chelsea and nothing makes sense etc while every fan I know including myself hasn’t been as invested in the club as we are currently for years
It feels like he's being swallowed up by the pressure and has no idea what to do. He needs to step back and just focus on the basics. Some of these players need to take a good, hard look at themselves.
Ruud is not the answer. We can't all pretend as if Ruud is no part of the coaching staff. We can't pretend as if Ruud is not on the sidelines discussing tactics with ETH. He's as much part of it as ETH at this point.
Just on the Mark point, he quite clearly was sending out Anti-INEOS sentiments saying he’d protest against them if they sacked Ten Hag, like he should’ve been let go of after the Cup final. Mark clearly has shown favorability to Rasmus & Antony and who give TUS interviews & exclusives (Team news etc.) over other players like Rashford & Maguire who have publicly pushed back against the Clickbait & fake stories Mark runs on his channel. Your point against Saeed is slightly null & void, your implying that he believes Mark is at fault for what’s going on at United, obviously not, but he’s spoken about his opinions on INEOS & TH. Should check out UtdMuppitiers, much more balanced view on United, really great creator.

Go and look at Bruno's red card. They got at least 3 camera views and pay attention to the reactions of the MU players. It's strange. Why is one center back who lost his Capt badge still on the team? How do the other team mates feel about his presence? What about Sancho? Do the new young players feel like MU will ruin their careers? Rashford look at his game on the pitch. Same thing he did back in 2016. Why is he still in the team? Looks like the owners only got rid of the players they could get money for and the rot remains.
im a big man united fan, I just hope they would lose big on the upcoming few games and get rid of ten hag for good and start fresh. we have seen enough what he's able to do as a man united coach. why keeping false hope and drag any longer.
The cycle of sacking managers every 3 years will continue if these players don't fix up and start playing for the club. Mourinho couldn't fix this team. Rangnick was right we need "open heart surgery"
The football side of the club has been in disarray for years due the the cancerous tumour called the Glazers. INEOS are relatively new to the club. TH is not really their man , they didn’t appoint him. It’s a club in transition. It will take much more time. The culture has been all wrong. When TH arrived he said that he didn’t have the players he needed to play the way he wanted to. That tells you something about the club. Transitions are often painful.
The patience from the fans has run out. I have no doubt that Eric gave his all and tried his best to get something going. He isn't the right manager for us at the moment but we seriously need to rethink what sacking him means. We get lets say Tuchel, sure he will want to spend even more money to bring more overpaid players in. It's a circus Laurence
Deluded mate - this is part of your problem. I would not swap anyone from your starting 11 for a Spurs starter. Until you wake up and realize that the quality of your players is poor you will continue to have unrealistic expectations. I hope they extend Ten Hags contract for another ten years or put him into a job share arrangement with Ole..
I personally feel it’s not the managers fault. In fact, to be completely honest it’s the fault of the players. They do this every time. Always down tooling on the manager when they don’t like him anymore. We saw this with mourinho, Ole, rangnick and now with eth. The funniest part of all this is these players are still here and regardless of who the manager whenever they aren’t feeling the manager anymore they down tool. What happened to playing for the badge? For the fans? For the people who lost their lives playing for the club? It’s an identity issue and I personally feel these are not the right players mentality wise for this team. It’s really a shame what these players are doing can’t lie. I want my team back. Get rid of these frauds.
A manager's job is to get the players on board. Mourinho didn't get the players he wanted and he rightly didn't like players that didn't apply themselves. Ten Haag got all the players he wanted and still nothing has changed. The only player he didn't get who he wanted was De Jong. All the other players he has brought in who he had at Ajax has looked awful, he would as well. If anything, the fact that he feels he needs to just buy all the players he had that earned him that initial reputation and they look crap is even worse. Ten Haag is telling you he doesn't believe in his ability to coach new different talent. If he had the ability to get all of that Ajax team he had and trade it, he would. It shows he has no real desire to progress his ideas or take the time and create new ones. He lives in a dream world like a one hit wonder. I beg Man U keep him because the best he can do this season is scrape a top half finish. City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle, Villa, Spurs, Brighton are all better and they all have belief and understanding in their manager and tactics. So Man U are already 9th, There are midtable clubs in the Prem that will battle and have brilliant spells attaining points. Fulham, West Ham, Brentford, Bournemouth, Forest. Considering everyone though Palace were somehow dark horses for a European push, if they make a late surge. Man U couldn't even beat them. Ten Haag can't muster a style or tactic to battle a Premier League season, he got cup trophies through lucky player individual brilliance. 3 years he's had, what has changed? They look worse.
I understand what you are saying, but I have a question. What next? They sack eth, get another manager and then what? That manager will have these players in his team still. Maybe they’ll put in a performance one or two times but when they fall out they’ll throw the manager under the boss. Honestly I really eth and he has he’s flaws but he can succeed when he can’t get rid of the player giving him issues in that dressing room. Let’s take pep for instance, when he got to Barcelona he got rid of big personalities like Ronaldinho, Eto etc who had the ability to split that dressing room in half regardless of the fact that they were one of his best players at the time and we know the rest of the story. What I’m saying in essence is if the coach can’t get the players he wants and exit the players he doesn’t he won’t have full control over the team further leading to poor performance on the pitch as we can see with man united.
6 games in, and the drama queens are calling for blood. Sir, Alex didn't win anything in his first two / three seasons. You can't keep flipping managers on, it doesn't work, patience and time, ETH needs time,
Utter nonsense Laurence, Ruud won’t turn that club around, Jesus Christ couldn’t resurrect that club with the players that are there. They have sacked manager after manager and that will continue until the players are flushed
Game’s gone. A liverpool fan defending a man united fan from other man united fans is a terrible vibe. There are times when we need to come together but this is hardly one of those times 😂
Any manager can't save United. They need a manager given the same power as Arteta was given at Arsenal. By that I mean allowed to dump Aubameyang, Özil an that other twat. They must also get rid of their medical staff.
Mark Goldbridge has a large influence on fans online and his coverage of Rashford and Onana has been ridiculous, even yesterday when they were the 2 better players on the pitch. He's so obviously unreasonable with his scapegoating some of these players and glaringly uncritical of Erik Ten Hag that people have no choice but to assume he must be affiliated in some part with SEG, especially after that dudes claim about the Hojlund interview. Got all the parts to make a great team, but for some array of reasons (probably not the manager) it doesn't work
People say Klopp and Arteta got 3-4 years to show progress...
Ajax board to ETH: "Erik, get them to buy a few more players. The Ajax job is still waiting for you".
His team looks like it’s always in such a rush to send the ball forward - it just makes them wasteful. It’s not the way his Ajax team played, so we’re not really judging him on the way he wants his team to play… which is just weird - they need to put him out of his misery
11:15 youre being far too kind loz
Honestly the real issue I can see (as a passive observer who only recently found Saeed because of his Chelsea videos) between him and Goldbridge is that Mark has a much bigger platform and brand recognition and kinda casually dismisses what Saeed considers to be the biggest problem at United which is ETH.
Which is always gonna be an issue.
In the same way as a Chelsea fan I’m seeing Rory on every show and podcast talking about how terrible everything is at Chelsea and nothing makes sense etc while every fan I know including myself hasn’t been as invested in the club as we are currently for years
My problem with tenhag is his delusion
He came to MU 2 years ago at the age of 52. That's quite late for a manager career. Most decent managers would get a job in a big club at their 40s
🙏🏽❤️
It feels like he's being swallowed up by the pressure and has no idea what to do. He needs to step back and just focus on the basics. Some of these players need to take a good, hard look at themselves.
they're going to agree to voluntarily terminate his contract. They will do this under the guise of saving face but everyone knows what's what.
TH-camrs fighting is just boring to me - and I suspect most ppl.
Roy Evans what a nightmare don't remind me.
As a Liverpool supporter you should be unhappy that he's getting sacked.
But that’s my point, it’s not deep enough to say this stuff. My Saeed point stands because he clearly has an issue with Mark. I want to know what.
@@laurencemckenna from what i watched from mark rants united view and seadd its fairly clear to me that seadd and rants are almost very bitter about where club is while mark is like most of the time very dissmissive about what they largely consider ten hags fault i think the problem they have with mark focuses around that
the real concern right now is are they going to able to find good replacements for him
@@laurencemckenna You forget how tribal football can be is because it is that deep to some. It makes perfect sense to be very angry at someone you think is poisoning the well, especially if they have influence within the community.
I don’t get the mark criticism. I feel like he only gets hate because he used to follow Forrest as a kid. People can change
Give him a new contract
Go and look at Bruno's red card. They got at least 3 camera views and pay attention to the reactions of the MU players. It's strange. Why is one center back who lost his Capt badge still on the team? How do the other team mates feel about his presence? What about Sancho? Do the new young players feel like MU will ruin their careers? Rashford look at his game on the pitch. Same thing he did back in 2016. Why is he still in the team? Looks like the owners only got rid of the players they could get money for and the rot remains.
Onana slightly better than Vicario, are you mad?
It would be exceedingly strange if they held on to him...
Why? After all Steve Bruce is still managing in football 😊 - leave the man alone and accept it will take time.
@@nanakwabena.779 Hey, I'm a LFC supporter. I hope he stays there forever.
@@edwardshepherd8074 LFC Forever Family 👍
ETH will go at the earliest in January. Not a moment sooner
🙏🏿👊🏿
im a big man united fan, I just hope they would lose big on the upcoming few games and get rid of ten hag for good and start fresh. we have seen enough what he's able to do as a man united coach. why keeping false hope and drag any longer.
My guess is that there's something rotten in the Man Utd dressing room that ETH hasn't addressed.
Don't tell them the truth! In ETH the league trusts😊
The cycle of sacking managers every 3 years will continue if these players don't fix up and start playing for the club. Mourinho couldn't fix this team. Rangnick was right we need "open heart surgery"
Most of those players are his. He's spent 600m.
@StephenC-k5o they sack managers for not winning league titles and Champions Leagues, this lot sack managers because they are in midtable
I'm willing to break the law to get Ancelotti 😂
The patience from the fans has run out. I have no doubt that Eric gave his all and tried his best to get something going. He isn't the right manager for us at the moment but we seriously need to rethink what sacking him means. We get lets say Tuchel, sure he will want to spend even more money to bring more overpaid players in. It's a circus Laurence
The problem in the team is Ronaldo… I mean Sancho… eh… no one else to blame?
Turned off when you said Onana is better than Vicario, and that's from an Arsenal fan.
It’s a completely different squad?🤣😂😂
Game’s gone. A liverpool fan defending a man united fan from other man united fans is a terrible vibe. There are times when we need to come together but this is hardly one of those times 😂
Onana is shit. Buying him was evidence ETH is shit too.
My deep tactical and strategic analysis.
I don't know if I'm convinced but Mark has influence within the fanbase and it would make sense for people to be, at the very least, angry at his obvious agendas.
He's just 1 guy with an opinion, which you can view as right or wrong. Understandable if you don't like him, but he deffo doesn't has agendas
@@mattdawson8600 1 guy with major influence within the fanbase and also happens to run one of the biggest fan channels in the world. If you don't think he has agendas that's fine but the way he talks about certain people and skews the truth, can and should be called out by the fanbase he represents.
the Rashford sympathizer has arrived. Please give him a new 4 year contract. He is the English version of Vinicius Junior
Ten Hag certainly doesn't come across as a man that's likeable or likely to display confidence that rubs off onto those around him ...as a strong man that one can be inspired by....in fact he comes across as a miserable person !! That's infectious ...!!
Kobbie mainoo is too slow... He won't be able to run the midfield
I hope he doesnt get sacked, i need weekly entertainment from united losing, and mark goldbridge losing his head lol 😂😂
I love ur stuff bt u r SO wrong all the time on Kobbie. Hes hd a rubbish season (overplayed) bt hes still easy in the top 5 in the league for tackles and interceptions. AND HES AN 8, NOT A 6!
I hope not
you better hope not!!!!
Really bad ending to the video when you start defending your mate Goldbridge. He gets criticism from all of his former United Stand colleagues because when they decided to leave to set up their own channels, Mark gets pissy about it and would make sly digs on his channel. Mark always starts these petty fights with all of his ex colleagues. He can't accept that people might rather set up their own youtube channels and make a bit of money for themselves rather than it all going into Mark's pocket. Mark sees it as "I gave you a chance on youtube so you work for me forever" - he sees them as ungrateful
Did you just bring up a kit man leaving as a reason a team would play awful to their rivals at home. Did I actually hear that
75% of Mark Goldfish's content is about 7Hag... what will he do?
I called you out start of the season when you tried to predict Utd with scare you and all that crap. You made tons of vids saying how great yes will be, you clearly don’t know ball
haha, I very clearly laid that out! The team have clearly turned a corner on ETH and so have the management. That's the nature of what we do. Sometimes you swing for the fences and make a prediction. You're not calling anything out, you're saying that I was wrong on a prediction but your conclusion that I don't know ball? Just don't watch.
@@laurencemckenna nah I just hate Utd mate and hate when people think they’ll do well 😂
Spurs have a much better team the united. Like without a doubt.
Nobody wants that
Not your best work here Laurence... really enjoyed your takes a classy channel but how does a video morph into a public defence of another youtuber, not even remarking on some of the controversial takes noted in the comments.
Listen their share price is pretty low at the moment…. As soon as they appoint RVN the share price will surge .Owners including Inios will make millions
I'm surprised Erik Ten Hag is still there. He has a huge ego, which ain't good for anybody.
He's dutch, so no surprise there about the ego thing. I know, I live in a country next to them. It should be named the Big Egolands, instead of the Netherlands.
all managers have big egos. You cannot make it at this level without it
Laurence you’ve been wrong about united for over a year now making videos “united scare me” talk your shit this team is ass and so is the manager 😊
That’s not true though. I laid out why I think it’s changed very clearly 😂
I'm completely with Goldbridge on this one. The players are the real problem. ETH has certainly made mistakes but the dressing room is where the real problems exist
I’m a Man Utd fan, but you genuinely seem more frustrated than some Man Utd fans 😅😅😅…but jokes aside 100% Eric Ten hag should go.
