In the US it is endowment for particular research whereas in India money goes to trusts which can used for anything. Non profit institutions are best way to increase education and research standard.

I say just ditch education system and learn what you want to learn, on your own time and keep practicing your what you've learned and develop skills. I only had Art as a hobby, now it's my core skill and now I've acquired skills in graphic design and have even started coding. I keep growing in my skills daily, but I don't get long last jobs just because I don't have a degree. This country doesn't appreciate gifted and talented people, it only wants slaves with Recorded Data in education.

I don’t find NEP would ever benefit the grassroots. 1. Reducing number of schools in the proximity of the child will only lead to school drop outs 2. Exams in 3 5 8 10 12 then an entrance even to a join a degree is going to pressurise the children more and education is going to become a burden than fun 3. Introducing vocational training from the middle school may divert the children and finishing school may be a ?
