Great games. Honestly tho I'd ditch the 3x ash for 3x Super Poly. This variant plays under the roach well enough and it synergizes with your patchwork engine.
Anything that's handtrap or monster negate heavy. Most of your starting plays are weak to Ash, since they have to search. Befomet is weak to multiple hand traps. Fountain is weak to both Ash and Orge(though rare) G.Chimera can also be Ashed. Which negates the destruction effects too. In short. Ash kills nearly every major play you make. Then Impermanence and Veiler. Monster Negates mess with your Chimera cards.

Illusion Monsters can't destroy or be destroyed by battle
Think of illusion monsters like imaginary numbers in calculus. They aren’t real but you still have to find a way to deal with them
