Lee is still one of my heroes. heehee) I have found my new favorite band. I hope this comment finds you well, 5 years later, but I'm just now finding this band, and I'm really pissed off that they I had to wait until now (I'm 41) to find Periphery's music. About a month ago, the TH-cam algorithm told me I might like this band and their music . . . . .

the easiest way to explain it is kinda like how soul mates work, two souls from one, who mirror each other and the name of the song clearly conveys it with the lyrics

The Jeff Loomis solo at 10:20 punches me right in the soul. So good.
12:42 on has to be one of my favorite parts in any piece of music. It's sort of hauntingly beautiful, with the beautiful clean guitar playing a happy yet somber chord progression. I'm not exactly sure how to describe it, but it catches my emotions off-guard and once the vocals come in, my emotions burst. Eh, I can't really describe it well, it's just music communicating well.
All the clean sections in this song are beautiful, especially the intro. Its special... every time i hear the intro im listening to the rest of the song no matter what!
I miss THIS Periphery, this song is the pinnacle of mathcore of the early 2010's.
