I will not be able to listen to this. The interviewer is constantly interrupting Dr. Offit. Your ignorance is so obvious as you are unsuccessfully trying to show your (shallow) knowledge. I doubt Dr. Offit will ever return to this podcast…and neither will I.
Paul Offit is so knowledgeable and interesting to listen to, but here’s a word for the interviewer: stop interrupting Paul when he’s talking!
because it's a skit
Occasional short interruptions can be helpful but too many were far too long.
Just subbed! I have Sjogren's and I am a one time Covid sufferer which never went into my lungs but I did have full body Covid and it took months to get over it but I do not have long Covid. Thanks for this discussion. I will be watching your updates.
People who are pregnant are called WOMEN. Why is this so difficult for you? This political and medical misogyny is disgusting.
My good friend died of covid; she dropped dead on the floor. I caught covid and was diagnosed with long covid. I had to go on emergency medication and a nebulizer.
My view of covid is that it can be deadly.
It's here to stay.. and it will have THREE waves a year. Yipee.
People are still dying
Dr. Offit people I know are having their miracle baby get their 6th booster. And another whose 19 yr old has had covid and had bad reaction to last 4 boosters but they listen to you and you said flu and booster cause his last one was October 2023 so they have apt for him to get both nxt week.
Both families said you said people who don't keep getting boosters will d-e and no severe disease or side effects w v. And the 33 yr old dad has fast move brain c they found 2 months ago so listening to you is important.
I have heard of you but I thought your son has not taken the boosters. I'm sure I misheard cause no doc wld tell people to have their babies keep getting but you not have ur baby so I'm trying to find . No Nuance u say.
Offit...... tell us how many vaccine patents you own; and what kickbacks from big pharma you are getting⁉️ FULL DISCLOSURE HERE PLEASE‼️‼️
Will Tell Me When It's Over become available on Audible. I'm in China and the paper version is not available.
Did we know at what tissue temperature did SARS COV2 better replicate ?
Because if replicate at lower tissue temperature, higher mucouseal respiratory temperature protect against Covid19.
Booster can measurably lower the incidence of Long Covid. For God's sake get your boosters. You don't want Long Covid.
Boosters don't prevent you from getting LC
@@Hdc2390 Quote from CIDRAP
"COVID-19 patients vaccinated against the novel coronavirus were less likely to have symptoms of post-COVID condition (PCC), or long COVID, according to a new study in Nature Communications."
Vaccination efficacy wanes appreciable with time. Boosters restore the resistance. They don't elminate the risk but measurably reduce it.
