The scene of Aqua being corrupted was added in Episode 122 at first, but on a second thought I put it back as it is in the original game. If we put Aqua's corruption before Sora started his adventure in KH3, it would take 6 Disney Worlds to be completed to let Ansem SOD and Ansem the Wise go from the Realm of Darkness to Twilight Town with a portal (which should be an instantaneous transfer). I wonder how Saix and maybe even Axel would react if they knew he was also searching for the same person? It's a shame we won't see Ansem again and he'll never get to find out where she is. Even though Xehanort might return in Quadratum, Ansem seemed to be doing his own thing here. Later he says part of him wanted to defy his fate. But we don't know what he would have done. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised if Ansem's little side plan here is never brought up again, but I really want to know what he was trying to accomplish. Really curious to see you play the Aqua vs Ansem scene again despite showing it earlier in the project. Is there a reason you went in this direction, such as refreshing the viewer’s context for Aqua’s dark turn, or something else?
Ah I see, you removed that scene in the previous video I was thinking of. I guess that makes sense, tho I personally think I preferred your original vision to establish Aqua not being present on the same beach by the time Riku and Mickey got there. I know it’s awkward to have Ansem SoD not do anything with Ansem the Wise for most of the story afterward but I always headcanoned that he kept him locked up in the castle dungeon or something until he seemed ready to talk. Even still used some kind of facility to finish the replicas so it’d only make sense if they still had dungeons available too. Idk, guess that’s just me. But I guess when in doubt, default to the original’s format, it’s no less confusing but at least it doesn’t shake the presentation that much lol.
Yes. In the first reupload of episode 122, the scene was present, but it didn't really feel right there so it was cut from the second reupload and moved to here.
Man, just seeing the trailer with Aqua being norted was actually terrifying to look at . But seeing how she got norted because of heartless Ansem ? I kinda expected more on how that even happened if I’m being honest . Like how her being in the realm of darkness for 11 years, finally reached its peak for her to look like that . Also, I found it hilarious on how Hayner thoughts that he could take on a fully powered heartless organization member . And again, it makes sense as to why Lea/Axel didn’t tell Roxas about Ventus . And watching this story in chronological order makes me question what were some of the other members excuses like with Marluxia and Larxene not mentioning anything about Roxas looking like their long lost friend ?
She wasn't "norted" that term got old, stupid, and dumb she was turned into are Darkling, something we learned are keyblade wielders who fall to darkness from the X games.
@@Angelus_The_Red_Dragon. That is a nonsensical argument; Last I checked, the Darklings are not the same as Xehanort's vessels. (Even the consequences are different, and Anti-Aqua is even more different from the Xehanort vessels because it's not as if she's totally lost her heart, hence why she's still able to wield a Keyblade while the Darklings from Union Cross had lost their ability to use the Keyblade altogether. Plus, the Xehanort vessels still retained their sense of self to some degree, especially in KH3, but Anti-Aqua only retained the negative emotions of the past 11 years or so.) Please tell me how they're the same despite all of the differences I've listed; If you repeat the bit about the consequences being the same, that already shows you don't actually have an argument.
if you need a refresher on how Aqua lost the Master's Defender Watch 0.2 As for Even wanting atonement, look after you get burned by Axel, taken by the real Organization, and you choose to be a vessel or be stand by, you rather play your cards for now on where you lay. And Even just wants to continue his research.
How is it that being a Nort keeps his research from him ? I wished it was Zexion playing his own cards. I HATE Ienzo. It's his worst version. The bland one. Almost as bad as Terra (Anakin Skywalkee rules, he's more complex). Xemnas is much more appealing.
@@Angelus_The_Red_Dragon Treating Terra like Anakin, like that joke hasn't run its course, it's 2025, Terra at least lived unlike Vader And we saw more of Inezo than Zexion anyway as a character, just because you like Zexion does not matter. It's weird and contrived, especially the idea that no one saw it before Sora in the year between the end of KH1 & when Sora finds it in KH3, but it is at least shown.
I just noticed around 4:20 of the video, there's a small error in the text where it starts with "When I was a boy, he would bring me some "...." when we took walks together."
I swear to god??? There is NO WAY that Ansem & Ansem SOD weren’t talking about Sterleizia in that Twilight Town cutscene man!!!! Like there’s just no other way they’re not talking about her….that’s the only person they’re talking about…..unless if it’s Skuld who did not ended up being time traveled to the same point in time as Ephemer & Brain soooo hmmmmm I swear man it’s either one of the 2….but it’s most likely Sterleizia
Neither of them even knew Strelitzia. Skuld is heavily implied to be Subject X. (The "four friends" bit being a massive clue. Strelitzia was completely on her own during the events of Union Cross.) As for the time travel bit, no, Skuld's pod wasn't in the same timeframe as Ephemer, and Sigurd at the end of Union Cross tells Brain that he's the only one who arrived in that time so not hard to put two and two together.
Did you realize just how many secrets EVERYONE keeps hiding from each other, even after their so called redemptions ? I'm supposed to fight for these people ? To trust them, when I don't know a thing about this Subject X, and I'm not told of recompletion earlier, back in 2, by the old man who's supposed to be everyone's mentor (Yen Sid) ? I CAN'T WAIT for Sora and Riku to get away from ALL of you, while Vanitas frees Kairi, Roxas, Xion and Naminé from their strings, by burning the puppeteers and their stage.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 no, but the way he spoke about recompletion to Mickey at the end of "Coded" shows he already knew of it for some time, but he allowed everyone to think they'd be gone forever. And this info's absence set the ground for Sora, during the 1000 Heartless Battle at Radiant Garden, to start having doubts about destroying Heartless, not understanding that while it did complete Xemnas's Kingdom Hearts, if they destroyed the Moon soon, those hearts would become people again once they found the Nobodies. Also, last time I checked, Lea did not lose his memory of Subject X, and he knows she's the missing piece regarding Xehanort's betrayal of Ansem. But he still reveals nohing. He offers none of his input of how she was the reason the experiments started, but also stopped. And that IS important info, because there's a missing person here, perhaps even an ally. Not even at the game's end, does he or Isa reveal anything, just like Axel and Saix used to do.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 so you see. They're pretty much a military organization, but they still think they're entitled to this secrets. Secrets important to unit's functioning.
I still have hope. Hope that Vanitas will do to DiZ, what should have been done back in "Days", through Naminé, Roxas or Ventus. It's necessary, even if it's revenge. Future generations must understand, there's no in-between here. You either go through with your promises, even the grim ones (the experiments), or you're everyone's dad (the person he should have been to Riku and Naminé). You don't get to let emotions overrule you to either an attack of conscience, or uncontrolled, counter-productive anger and hatred. This is about REAL closure.
You're assuming Vanitas himself cares about any of that. Also, I can't be the only one that sees the irony in you lecturing about emotions overruling you when that is every one of your comments on this very video between your two accounts.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 I thought long and hard about this, to see if I wasn't being too much like him. I think as long as my scenario doesn't turn people into Ansem lookalikes and doesn't necessarily keep the kids from exploring their powers and ideas, I'm in the clear. That was his ultimate flaw. First he got cold feet in his experiments, so he cancelled them completely, instead of just finding more humane alternatives (his apprentices were relying on those experiments for closure). And then, when he had a second chance to foster growth, he traumatized Riku further against Darkness, and made sure Naminé wanted no life after Sora.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 also, "care" is too strong a word. I just meant Vanitas might need some negative emotions to feed on in order to take a physical form again.
I found two fic series in which there's at least the implication Naminé has her just revenge against DiZ (one is self-defense, the other is cold...whatever it is she does to him as a Nort). The desired outcome. The outcome that SHOULD have been. I don't know about you, but I pledge myself to deny canon for the sake of any GOOD fic that changes certain outcomes in 2. As for the best of those series, I'd say "Sea-Change of Fate" is the perfect alternative version of canon.
@@OathKeeperRiku07I'm sure that applies to people who can't simply erase every memory you have in the blink of an eye, and didn't have to deal with an abuser. Plus, you know what they say. Life's too short and unpredictable. Gotta accept death is a part of life in order to live it to the fullest. Refusing revenge without a plan afterwards (a pseudo-suicide doesn't count) is playing it safe, but not exactly living.
@@Angelus_The_Red_Dragon i'm the last person to say this, but too much fanfiction versus what is canon breaks your brain, Namine is nothing like what you see in fanficiton,
@@OathKeeperRiku07actually, there's a buildup to it: -In one fic, she gets a Keyblade and is a double agent inside the first Organization, chosen by Xemnas as a vessel, so the strain put upon her is bigger, especially with the extra access to the memories of the first war, as she's closer to the OG fighters; -In the other, having saved Roxas AND Xion, since Roxas and Axel's love for her made her a real person in their perspective that required only a body to return (this is the simplified version of it, btw), DiZ takes this as a betrayal, and knowing Riku helped her, he decides to finish the job himself, since Sora is ready to wake up. He has not been heard of ever since. Not even Yen Sid can read the stars to find him. I'd call that good old fashioned self-defense, caused by the fact he broke her last straw when he slapped her to take his anger out on her, when Axel saved Roxas from Riku. You forget she ALWAYS had the potential to go evil. Back in "CoM", when she's still developing her personality, you'll notice in every scene focused solely on her and her POV, she has a cynical curiosity to herself, envy, and perhaps pleasure at using her powers. She starts changing her mind when Marluxia and Larxene abuse Repliku, and she sees Sora's unwavering kindness. The only thing that kept her from breaking completely was Riku. Yet, in both of those, there's this crucial moment he's not there for her that finally has her snap.

Wasnt the scene in the RoD where Aqua and Ansem are attacked by Ansem SoD already happen earlier in the timeline?
Yes. In the first reupload of episode 122, the scene was present, but it didn't really feel right there so it was cut from the second reupload and moved to here.
@ ah! Ok I thought that may have been what he did! Must’ve missed the re-upload. Thanks!
Let’s goooo!!!
She wasn't "norted" that term got old, stupid, and dumb
she was turned into are Darkling, something we learned are keyblade wielders who fall to darkness
from the X games.
@@OathKeeperRiku07it's the same consequences, making them the same.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 ohhhhh ! My mistake, sorry. It's been a while since I last took a look to the mobile game. Thank you for your correction.
if you need a refresher on how Aqua lost the Master's Defender
Watch 0.2
As for Even wanting atonement, look after you get burned by Axel, taken by the real Organization, and you choose to be a vessel or be stand by, you rather play your cards for now on where you lay.
@@Angelus_The_Red_Dragon Treating Terra like Anakin, like that joke hasn't run its course, it's 2025, Terra at least lived unlike Vader
And we saw more of Inezo than Zexion anyway as a character, just because you like Zexion does not matter. Also, everyone need to stop make making nort a word,, a verb, or a noun, you sound silly.
@@OathKeeperRiku07...I...wasn't joking. I do think Terra is based after Anakin, since Nomura admited being a big fan of "Star Wars". But unlike Terra, Vader had a story that went beyond daddy issues and self-given overimportance (it was never a garantee he would be a master).
Anywho, how does being Norted keep Vexen from his research.
@@Angelus_The_Red_Dragon just because we had the voice actors of Stars in KH, does mean Terra is based on him
that's stupid, way do people believe dumb head canons of momura so much?
@@OathKeeperRiku07 because while different in origins, their M.O is extremely similar.
Plus, the man himself admited the lasers Xemnas and Young Xehanort used were based after the Lightsabers.

Why does aqua not use her keyblade again?
After the events of 0.2 she loses her Keyblade, and at some point it ends up on Destiny Islands where Sora finds it.
@pslayer8943 and then he use the same keyblade to open the way to the dark world
Lost the Master's Defender at the end of Fragmentary Passage, and sent her own Keyblade back to the Realm of Light after the Terranort fight in BBS.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 but she doesn’t, we fight the demon tide with it, destiny is restored, and she falls back into the abyss, if she losses master defender in there, it isn’t shown.
Aqua's Keyblade doesn't fall with her at the end of 0.2, and Sora finds it at the same spot she left it on the Destiny Islands beach in 0.2. It's weird and contrived, especially the idea that no one saw it before Sora in the year between the end of KH1 & when Sora finds it in KH3, but it is at least shown.
Lost opportunity to make a boss fight between master Aqua and Ansem in ROM
I was genuinely expecting that to happen but she didn’t have her key loaded so maybe it was too hard to make into a fight.
I just noticed around 4:20 of the video, there's a small error in the text where it starts with "When I was a boy, he would bring me some "...." when we took walks together."
This is not good! Sora, you better hurry, Mickey and Riku need your help right now!
Yeah, you have definitely lost the plot. Also, Yen Sid is not all knowing; The games themselves make this perfectly clear.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 so you see, they're pretty much a military organization, yet they think they're still entitled to secrets such as these.
Not like we care about fanfiction here, but revenge isn't' healthy, just going to dig two graves, one for yourself.
@@Angelus_The_Red_Dragon i'm the last person to say this, but too much fanfiction versus what is canon breaks your brain, Namine is nothing like what you see in fanficiton,
@@OathKeeperRiku07actually, there's a buildup to it:
-In one fic, she gets a Keyblade and is a double agent inside the first Organization, chosen by Xemnas as a vessel, so the strain put upon her is bigger, especially with the extra access to the memories of the first war, as she's closer to the OG fighters;
-In the other, having saved Roxas AND Xion, since Roxas and Axel's love for her made her a real person in their perspective that required only a body to return (this is the simplified version of it, btw), DiZ takes this as a betrayal, and knowing Riku helped her, he decides to finish the job himself, since Sora is ready to wake up.
